The final eight players from a total of 220 entries returned to Casino de Marrakech on Sunday, and it took eight hours of play, including a 1,5 hour heads-up battle, to determine a winner. Portuguese poker pro Henrique Pinho received €35,800 after sending Frenchman Patrick Groppi packing in second place for €32,100.
According to Hendon Mob, Henrique Pinho now has over $206k in live tournament earnings. His win of the 2016 Marrakech Poker Open was his largest score to date! His second best cash was a victory of the WPT Big Stack Open last year for €21,832.
