On Thursday, a player on the 2003 college football national champion LSU Tigers received a 50-year prison sentence for attempted murder at a Louisiana casino in 2011. Demetri Robinson, 32, pleaded guilty to three count of attempted second degree murder on Aug. 18, 2014, for shooting at three employees of the Cajun Circus Casino Sept. 18, 2011. Robinson shot a cashier and then fired shots at two other employees after being asked to leave the casino.
