Nuts Poker commit fraud.  0
A few weeks ago I left a post explaining how Nuts Poker are not paying me my £110 withdrawal. Well the situation hasn't changed. They just tell me they have "technical problems". I have another £50 still in my account and now I can't log in at all. I have tried to log in repeatedly over the last few days and it just gives me a message saying "all servers are busy, try again in a moment".

After searching forums on the internet it appears a lot of people have had trouble with payouts from Nuts Poker and other gambling clients owned by their parent company Teller Processing LTD. They are a company based in Cyprus so I don't know how much protection I have and whether I will ever get my money back. They are in the EU so maybe that will help.

I only signed up to them because of Bankroll Mob so it would be nice if BRM could give some sort of apology for encouraging it's members to sign up to a fraudulent, rogue site like Nuts Poker.
Aww crap!

(I still love you though BRM Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up )

unfortunately Bankrollmob was cheated by Nutspoker as well, infact when BRM launched gift offer there Nuts didn't pay BRM the money the owed and BRM, that has in my opinion a great respect for its customer, paid the gift with its own money instead of Nuts ones.

there is a thread where admin told us about it but I can't find it now

lately I heard many complaints about Nuts poker and not only here Thumbs Down

What magatt966 said.

Me, I cashed out and uninstalled Nuts poker as soon as I read about them cheating BRM. If they don't honour their agreement with BRM, why would they with me? Besides, I like BRM, and I dont like cheaters.

I only had a few tenners there, so it wasn't a big deal, but I feel for you. 160 £ that, might be, down the drain.

Anyways, I don't think BRM should have to apologize for them being a-holes.

Anyone knows what happened with Nuts Poker since monday or tuesday this week? Was the site closed or something? On tuesday they advertised the bounty freeroll and since then it is silence there and it is not possible to connect (all servers busy message) and the mentioned freeroll was still running with phantoms, last 2 players standing yesterday.

yep its a shame that all your hard work at the table didnt pay off,
well it did you won but couldnt cash out ,
i bet there plenty of players who have not receved there much higher payouts request,
like magatt says BRM got stuffed as well............
but wheres there money involed there always gonna be fraud and deception,
and plenty of corruption, online gambling is a high risk trust is a main factor,
thats why i mainly play and deposit at the top sites.........
i think alot can be learned here so this doesnt happen again.....
but when a new poker site comes on the scene promising all the best bonuses bla bla crap

its prob too good to be true like i said b4 stick to the proven top sites which have been around the longest with the biggest reps too,
theres not any room on the market for new pokers sites i.e Real deal poker that closed down offerd a NDB here at BRM lack of traffic no rep = no customers,

all im saying is that yougot ripped off by a site with no rep no trust no one had ever heard of them 6 months ago what did you expect????? even BRM got caught up in this ,
maybe BRM should do checks on new poker sites who they let on there site!!! (Advertising)
the site had nothing to lose thats why they have kept all the money, and prob wont start up the site again, compare this to the major sites they wouldnt do this they have been around along time they have a lot to lose players trust rep ect..

so just stick to top sites and you wont get screwed IMO Big Smile

I had a look around, and it looks like Nuts Poker and their group has been scamming affiliates for a while.
Google: Brian Goodman nuts poker
you´ll find lots of links.

Apparently the group has started anther affiliate site/scam to distance themselves from the Nuts Poker issue. "ggrewards.com"

Doesn´t look very promising...sorry.

In my opinion such pokerrooms must be banned forever and their CEO must be indicted for international fraud. This is horrible, it is fraud and they must be punished. Smile

That's pretty rough.. at least not a massive amount of money - I can guarantee if they're having liquidity issues there'd be dudes with 5 figure maybe even 6 figure amounts getting stuck for that.

Anyway - hope they sort their s**t and pay you your money. You'd have to be feeling pretty ripped off.

thats crappy and im very sorry for ur loss, but honestly, i dont think u ll ever get ur money. those sites r built by cheating, there r thousands of stories in the internet about companys like that. the only way to prevent from gettin ripped off is to inform urself by reading tests and go to forums before u actually play and pay on the selected site.

There are at least 25-30 legitimate sites going so I don't understand why anyone would invest with a tiny start up like NutsPoker. If u really must try these potentially shady sites, do some research on them 1st.

no offense to OP. But I always wonder the same thing - like who are these people playing on the tiny sites.. ?? Although I guess - with nuts for example - they're often part of a larger poker network. So people may be unknowingly playing on a crappy site because it has the same skin style as other rooms and heaps of traffic thanks to a healthy network.

But some sites, with like <1000 traffic at peak time, I always wonder why people are playing there.. I think mainly because apparently lots of fish do ?? But then I wonder how these fish got onto such tiny sites .. surely they'd be at the larger sites..

It's all strange and IMO the lesson is - stick to the top 20

Jess, I play some at a small site I never heard of before I found it by accident, and haven't heard of after that either. It's on the microgaming network, and I tried a few of those sites, but this one, I don't know... It's like I can't lose. Especially on the DoN:s. People just... suck.

I have cashed out a few times, and it's always fast and without any hassle.

Maybe it's just my imagination, and I have been lucky, but the winning has been going on for quite a while now.

My theory on why there is so many bad players, is because the site is originally, if I have understood it correctly, more of a casinosite. ANd the players sort of "spill over" to the pokerside. And we all know, that people who play casinogames online for other purposes than for fun (or bonuswhoring), ain't that bringt.

Now, that's my explanation on why I play on a small unknown site.

(The most I have had there is like 250 $. I usually cash out everything over 100, just to be sure.)

One reason could be smaller room to attract customers have to be aggressive with their marketing strategy and offer bonuses or rakeback better than bigger ones

if I find a poker room offering 50% rakeback or more, offering an istant cash bonus of $100 whatever the furst deposit is, for example, then I would play there no matter the traffic.

Most likely they are poker players. Blink

Usually those smaller sites have better bonuses than the big boys. So a lot of people give them a try.

i feel sorry for you and other players on that site. it is tragic things like this happens but it will beccause the players are probably going to bigger sites to play poker. Hope it will go well for you and other players there.

UPDATE:
OK I tried to log in just now and it actually worked...
It's taken 4 months but they have finally put all the money back in my account. Turns out they may not be the criminals I thought they were.

I'm gonna withdraw it to Moneybookers and hopefully they won't give me this "technical problems" crap.

I'll report back. Thumbs Up

BTW, it's on the IPoker network so it does have quite a lot of traffic.

Do you have a good friend with an account at another IPoker Site ?

"Lose" your money to him could be the safest way to get your money back. Blink

Well there you go! I didn't expect that, but great news. Hope you get them out of there now too.

Me, I just got 200 $ from Action poker that I had been waiting for, for almost two weeks, and was starting to get a little nervous. It usually goes a bit faster, but there they were! Smile
