I think what dozn01 said earlier makes sense. BRM should do somewhat like a background check on small sites before advertising them. it might make BRM look bad when those small sites don't pay up.

UPDATE: Well it appears Nuts Poker has gone under with my money still in the account. It is impossible to log in anymore, all you get is "Cannot contact the gaming server. Please check your Internet connection and try again. You can only continue in Offline mode. Sorry for the inconvenience."
There is a post on the twoplustwo forum and it appears other people have lost a lot more money than me.
So my question now is what legal protection do we have if a poker room goes rogue / out of business?

like people said you should research were you are investing your money first and of course it is possible to have some thing done bout it its no good talking bout it its done if your that bothered research the owner of the site find out were he lives and have him confronted

Hi,I play poker at Fulltilt,Party poker and Pokerstars,sites like Nuts poker and in my case Winnerpoker I start to play only because of gift offers by BankrollMob.Nuts poker is erased when I hear what is happen(about gifts) and Winnerpoker gift is on my account after 2 months of sending mails and waiting and now Winner is also out,from now only big,good sites where I'am sure that I can withdrawl when I WANT

You have to watch these small sites. I spun a 5 Euro BRM roll on Betraiser to 175 last year, got nervous about their low traffic and cashed out. Then played their freerolls until they removed the early one and cashed that out too. Both times it went flawlessly but their low traffic always made me wonder if they were about to disappear. Either way, the point is I never deposited one cent. Sometimes bigger is better.

All who have acounts with money on Nuts Poker, now this poker room is alive. This week end I try login and I was able to do this and I make a withdrow of all my monmey not much only 34$ and yersterday I recive money in my moneybookers acount. So all who have money in Nuts poker try to make cash out, before it will be late. Good luck to all who wants make cash out from Nuts Poker.

a half year ago i said to all that this site will be huge problem site and u ll deposite some money here and never got them back so its happens now not only to u also to some my known peole amazing but they break all rules and still not was closed good luck all

Thats ridiculous. Thanks for your post, i was thinking about joining up that site to check it out now. I hate the way these companys are so uick to tak in your money but pay outs are a nightmare. Waiting 2 weeks for a withdrawl from palace of chance. I can cancel it anytime as well giving me the opportunity to piss it away any second. Lets hope this will power will last

Final Update: Just thought I'd say that I did finally get my money back. It took months but at least I have my money now. I think their poker room is up and running again but I'll never be using it from now on. They have been unprofessional from the start and I doubt Nuts Poker will last. Best to do some research on a site before depositing in my opinion. Anyway I'm playing on BigBetPoker nowadays thanks to BRM's no deposit bonus.
