Posted by kraemer: How many favorite hands did You beat to get that far ?
from me , people always tend to remember that they lost with the favorite hand , they don't remember how they got there , how many showdowns they won , or how many other monster hands players they kicked out so far.

Look at the post from Michaelwilk....he has a great point. Despite the fact that you wuld have flopped AA8 and thought you had a winning hand with trip A's, the point is what the heck you doing going all in on AK when you have 20+BB? Furthermore, loads of people go all in with any old Ax and thats poker...making the wrong decision at the right time. Keep us all smiling tho!!!!!!!

I want many players that call my +20bb push with A8. Sure i wanted. The only pain for me is that NOT all the other players call pushes with A8. I will lose some hands, of course, and some of this will hurt a lot. But i until will want that they call me with A8.
I still remember Rush Multinetry MTT 1+0.1 when you can found lots of this guys...

Thats a tough pill to swallow grahamy. Dont mind what people say. Even if you lead out and bet 3.5x of some other amount likely the same guy calls and the same s**t happens. Maybe if you did lead out then you could have enticed a larger stack along but that only benefits the guy who hit the miracle flop.
To the people who needle the guy for playing and then posting, cut him some slack. He dove allin because he wanted to show as much strength as possible because to him if he was going to play the hand he didn't want the big stacks getting a discount to draw. He never knew it was coming AA8 or he would have we can all agree. In late stage mtt this play is super standard in that stake but sadly so is calling with A8. We are giving his stack size so its hard to gauge if his play was super poor or just poor. If for example he were to read u weaker then A high or a pp smaller then 8's he would have to call there knowing u created some isolation. Poker is so dynamic its nearly always impossible to tell.
I can appreciate the level of thought u put in to avoid such a horrendous suck out and considering the timing and everything else only makes it worse but dont let that dissuade you from playing ur best.
