yeah i don't get how they are so lucky but when you play you just seem to miss everything. Let alone getting monsters against maniacs..

yeah true, I wasn't sure in that moment what to do, since the whole table was pretty loose and they all know he would raise any 2. I didn't want to play my K-K against 4 or 5 Hands.
Maybe wasn't the best play, but due time limit I simply decided to go all-in

Hello mate, I know exactly how you feel. I guess all poker players have experienced day when everything goes wrong. But if you play your hands correctly you will win in the long run. My advice is play for less money, then you have less risk.

I am out 10 buclks out of the 171 I won the other night and have decided to take a break from any real money buyin for a bit and play freerolls to get into the groove again. I am kind of waiting for the new year to get a clear start on my goal of 5k.
I feel your pain man but patience is key, I have gone on massive downswings up until the other night and holding back alot. Do not play sit n goes, I know its hard but try MTT's, try normal cash tables and keep your calm....the donks will eventually lose, trust me I feel like how you feel alot of times and I am learning to just walk away even if I am down 2-3 bucks in a session as my worst enemy is trying to get it back! play some free rolls and practice patience....
------------ Question do you listen to music??? Even if I am alone I put headphones on and listen to some soothing music and it seems to help with the patience, also smoke a fattie, drink 1 beer....nothing excessive but something to just take a little edge off.

just some more random ideas to try man!
I will, very occasionally, smoke a fattie (It's a rare treat now, I've cut down from 1oz a week to about 1/4 oz a year). I don't mind one beer, one whisky or one glass of wine, but any more just kills my game.

Posted by dstrstorm14: "someone somewhere is losing" don't invest too much of yourself in winning at poker, the odds are very low. don't be a sore loser its really hard.
It's not hard at all. I could teach that a monkey within 5 hours of time max as long as he was able to listen and learn.

Oh Lebron........ You do have it bad. But it's your own fault! You have not changed your game to compensate for the loose aggressive play of your competitiors...... You are still trying to value bet and being wiped out....both at the table and in your head. Change your play and go super tight and see if that makes any difference....even in the short term, then modify again according to how it goes and people's response to you.
