Posted by IceQueenAce: I still have to be really careful, I'm not quite rolled enough for buying in for $1, comfortably.
I am looking at roughly 40x and so quite short on the $1 games I am starting on.
I can certainly pick from a wider range of games now though, which is good and I am not playing knowing 3 busts and I have lost my BR.
Yeah, variance in poker can get really bad. I guess it's good to always carry spare ammunition. You may not need them, you may never use them, but you never know what could happen during the journey.

It will be nice, if you put also the goal for now. You said that you need $6000 in 17 months, it will be $11 per day. And if you will put something like "Challenge - day 10, goal was $110, I have $50" -we will be more informed if your challenge will be made on time

I did consider this and it is definetly something I will add to the thread later. I have the totals. The reason I decided not to add yet is because I know I cant keep up with the target early on and it will require winning more later on when BR is bigger, and I didn't want negative numbers that may make me tempted to chase.
Hope that makes sense
------------ Frustrating evening. -$5.25 to leave a BR of $25.12.
Was a few sngs that I bubbled one after the other so decided to quit whilst I still have a BR and will go again tomorrow

The most frustrating evening.
Bought into about $12 worth of mtts, bust all bar one. First prize was $442.
Did well, took a few bounties and was in about 35th out of 45, 2726 started. 2am for me and that is where I fell asleep. I just woke up after an hour and remembered this was why I stopped playing mtt's on party :/
Finished the tourney in 30th for $8.80. With bounties I made $2 profit on the evening.

You have a long road ahead of you, but you many get lucky in a couple of tournaments, hitting big, taking you faster to your goal Good luck with steady, daily profits, hitting that mark soonish
