B1gfoot, so what you're saying, swine flu was invented by the governments only to get us take the vaccination and become controllable by the government in a few months time? Interesting... and not entirely unrealistic I suppose

Im saying nothing without a brief. Not saying that tbh, its going to cost them, indirectly us. I think its something they would rather not do, with the credit crunch tamiflue handouts etc would cause money problems again, however if they dont and we all get ill then we enter a new cedit crunch. Did they make it, possable but someting like this is always going to be created by nature/evolution, not sure about the killer bee tho!
so 1 in every 176 infected will die and if you get it 3 times a yer each year for 10 years.... were can I get that jab again LOL.

I think there is nothing to worry about, every year 1000 ppl die by lightning and so far only 779 died by swine flu. In a few months everyone will forget about this swine flu, at least I hope so, because its alrdy annoying.
Ps: 0 deads in germany, if I manage to dodge the fucking lightnings, it looks pretty good for me ..
lol...I like Dunotras' reply. Just found out this morning that my neighbor has swine flu and can't be around anyone. I was at his house helping him move some heavy stuff around right before he got it. I wonder what my chances are of catching it. I'll keep you guys posted.

I live in Bs As and it is a big problem right now. The virus H1N1 showed to be more virulent that others types of influenza, There are reported 187 fatal cases, but the cases would be many more

Lol this flue thing makes people give some weird advice. I went to a festival this satudray and my mum told me not to shake hands becouse of the flu! :d She didn't even tell me to stay away from drugs and/or alcohol

so what...funny thing when i was a kid...people got the flu all the time....no name or type just the flu...would like to know how many people die every year with just the "flu" compared to pig flu

I totally agree. Plus in Germany we have about 1500 infection (assumed) and the our goverment have ordered about 50 million doses vaccine... I think that's a little bit of overreacting xD

sorry, I havent read whole thread.
Just wanted to say, in Australia, it became uncontainable a looong time ago, especially in my state; Victoria. It's actually the most common flu strain there is and they've stopped even testing for it in most cases.
Anyway, so far it's proven itself to be LESS harmful than flu's of other years. It's generally a pretty mild flu. It has killed people here, but they were sick already and this happens with any flu any year.
Swine flu here has just become something of a joke, we all know people who've had it now (or have had it ourselves) and it's just a bit of a laugh and a bit of a cough.

thats what they used to do here in aus, quarantine people. Lucky once it became "pandemic" or whatever, they stopped bothering to try and contain it
