durrrr challenge: Tom Dwan's lead is getting bigger

It seems like Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Patrik Antonius find it hard to find some time to play the durrrr challenge lately. And when they play, it's usually only one to two hour sessions. This time was different. In this session they played multiple sessions with shorter breaks over an eight hour period.

Tom Dwan has been playing very well in the durrr challenge lately, and it seems like the poker gods are on his side when he needs to get lucky. In this session Tom Dwan stayed in the lead against Antonius all the time and also took down the most bigger pots (around $200-$300k). An example of when Tom Dwan got lucky in this session is when he and Antonius went all-in pre flop. Antonius had a much better hand and flopped trips. At this point, Tom Dwan only could win with a runner, runner straight. Tom Dwan prayed to the poker gods, and the poker gods answered his prayers by giving him the straight and the pot of $190,000.

Tom Dwan has now increased his lead with another $82k. This means that after 27,185 hands of the durrrr challenge, Tom Dwan has a lead of $779,248. Of course it's still a long way to go of the durrrr challenge. Anything can still happen, and that is probably why it's still so interesting to follow the durrr challenge?

Anything can still happen, I'm still backing Antonius as I believe he'the better player, it must be hard to keep getting luckboxed...

This challenge is getting a bit boring now. How many hands do they have to play through before its completed?

C'mon durrr. I think he's better and, even more, if he's getting luck this should be less difficult to him.
I agree with you guys, they shoud play often. It's becoming too long.

Patrik is a great player, but Durr's loose/ hyper aggressive style is really more entertaining to watch. Interesting to see who wins this challenge.

Wonderful challenge.
It's curious to see how bad beats can happen to pro players too.
Maybe durrr has a loose/aggressive style but he has a '' gran culo '' too.
It means he's lucky

Strange the artical was written just after Durrrr lost a session by $167,620.50, thats decreasing!!!
If he stop getting runner runner he will be dooomed.
Nice to see he took anouther pasting, 1.1 mill down in less than 900 hands at PLO $500/$1,000.
Looks like he will break even for this year, lucky boy..this year could have easily seen him drop out of HS, always next year LOL...

Anouther good day yesterday for Durrrr, losing $1.1mill then $850K wasent good enough, not for Durrrr he had to go top it and lose $1.3mill yesterday....Ohhh what a great week.
Now that would be news if it was Durrrr won 1.3 last night...but no.
