232 came to start in Day 1b of the EPT Copenhagen Main Event. 138 players made it through the day and will now join the other 113 players (from Day 1a) today when Day 2 of the tournament kicks off. Peter Eastgate, the 2008 WSOP CHAMP, played very well in Day 1b of the tournament as he managed to accumulate 128,300 chips (4th place). A few other notable players that played very well in Day 1b of the tournament were Sebastian Ruthenberg (130,000 - 3rd place), Juha Helppi (120,600 - 6th place), Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier (113,700 - 14th place).

Further down in the field are Ramzi Jelassi, (Swedish poker pro - lots of great live tournament results), Luca Pagano (Italian PokerStars pro & probably the most successful EPT player ever?), and Tomas Brolin, the Swedish ex-football pro who has played in many EPT events in the past few years - without good results.

The 232 players who have made it to Day 2 will now fight for a piece from the total prize pool of 14,212 DKK (about €1,9 million dollars). The winner will get about €500,000.

How many rebuys and addons had spent?? I don't like great torunaments systems ... it's only a question of money. They had taken a big advantatge but now is time to demonstrate if they know manage it.

nice turnout and nice prizepool for the main event.
think the nordic poker awards has made the event more popular and certainly has attracted more pros

In the day 2 he's still in with a big stack, maybe in the lead. Now I think it will be very hard for opponents to boost him

Seems like winning wsop main event wasn't just luck for Peter Eastgate, too bad we don't hear much of this years winner Joe Cada.

2 million dollars? Damn that's a nice prizepool Smile My wish would be to play in such a tournament for once, I would be curious where I would end (probably bottom somewhere)..
