It seems like Tom Dwan is having the worst luck ever at the Triton Poker Super High Roller cash game in Jeju, South Korea.

Triton Poker Super High Roller Series 2018 Event info:
Short Deck Cash Game 36 cards (2's thru 5's removed).
Flush beats a full house.
Ace acts as high (TJQKA) and low (A6789) for making straight (so acts as A and as 5).
BUY-IN: ₩ 300,000,000 (≈$300,000) for 300,000,000 chips - unlimited re-entry

On Episode 1, he lost a $2.3 million pot to Malaysian high roller Paul Phua.

On Episode 2, he lost $537,300 to Elton Tsang.

Things are no different for him on Episode 3 as once again, he lost, and this time it's a six-figure pot.

Aside from Tom Dwan and Malaysian high roller Paul Phua, the high-stakes table also featured elite high rollers including partypoker ambassador Jason Koon, Mikita Badziakouski, Elton Tsang, Tan Xuan, Qiang Wang and Andrew Robl.

This time he's clashed wits with American poker pro Andrew Robl.

Dwan got J-K of hearts.

Robl had 8-9 of clubs.

The flush revealed K (diamond), 10 (clubs), K (clubs), which made Dwan think he had the best hand in this round.

However, Robl moved all-in, which prompted Dwan to contemplate in what seemed like forever before he made his next move that many believed was a bad call.

The two poker pros decided to run it twice, and the second run saw Dwan's hand improve to a full house, HOWEVER, tough luck for him because one of the rules in Short Deck is that a flush beats a full house!

The audience can definitely see the reclusive poker pro looking pained after seeing the result was not in his favor. How much pot did he lose? Well, it's $887,400. Ouch...

Why i cant watch this game? Smile
Perhaps due to the variation with the new winning hands.
Something that has frustrated dwan, since his full house lost from the flush,
in the double draw.
And the total amount lost was a pain also. Almost a million USD.
A fortune Smile

I get the feeling that he is only there so the producers of this series can make him look like a chump. It's basically equals with a clickbait article - I think he is so much better player than this...
But he signed up for this himself.

Poor Dwan can't catch a break. One can only hope he doesn't play exclusivly with his money. Usually it wouldn't be a smart moe from Robl to go all in with a flush draw on a already paired board, bit for this version of holdem there are different rules. But back luck for Dwan to lose both halves of the hand.

How can one person afford to lose so much money?? Seriously though, the amounts these guys are playing for is phenomenal and i start shaking just watching them play for such vast amounts

After his face, Tom Dwan it does not feel too good. I do not understand why he was complicated to play this game. She knew very well that a color beats a ful,l but he paid. I do not understand, he is a professional player but he plays like an amateur. Why he does this?

like I said in last thread about his big lost,we will see lots of his big winnings, but also big losses in future!didnt expect such a fast loss after last one,but thats poker!he can afford this kind of big bets and no matter if he win or lose!but on some other he will win big amount!

They many get backed up from others also.
It is not a secret that many times professional players selling action.
But besides that who know how much money he actually has made so far, from poker.
All these losses while huge for us, may have not an impact on him or his game Smile

he is of course a good player ... this is his bad lane in the game now ... then this is of course temporary .... maybe here he will not be able to change his fate and he will not be able to show decent results ... But this is nothing says .... he still remains a great poker player .... And next time He will show it

Yes of course i too think tom dwan is still very good poker player maybe top 5 in world, he play tonvery big risk and this is result tlwe see many times he lose hands, but also because this he wins many hands and i think he has very big bankroll to play

Until it shows us again that he is a big player, he will have to stop calling to some hands, because even the fish players make fold, at that hand when he asked for one million after he lost. I would like Tom Dwan to make a major tournament at a final table with big players, but to play as a professional not like an amateur.

I guess not much of that money is his. Probably staked by somebody (or somebodies).

Looked up the hand in the video, a bit different then stated in the text. Actualy quite horrible play by Dwan. Checking when ahead, betting when behind. And for the final call; i can only asume that he sucessfully convinced himself, that it was just a squeze play bei Robl.
