Full Tilt Poker: Orinic withdraws license application

Orinic Limited, Full Tilt Poker' subsidiary, has withdrawn the application for a gaming license that was made to Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC). This was reported by AGCC in a press release 2 days ago. Also, this means that the scheduled public hearing next Thursday is canceled.

This doesn't come as a surprise since Group Bernard Tapie, the investment group that was going buy Full Tilt Poker until a few days ago, sent out press release the other day that it had failed to reach an agreement with the United State Department of Justice to acquire the assets of Full Tilt Poker.

Now, let's hope that the rumor about PokerStars buying Full Tilt is true so players will get back their money.

AGCC, Alderney Gaming Control Commission, has just announced that there will be a public hearing on May 3 as a result of Full Tilt's application for a new license. This is just one of many positive news regarding Full Tilt in the past few weeks.

On April 17, for example, some people claimed that were asked to upgrade from version 4.39.7 (Black Friday version) to 4.45.10 and accept revised terms and conditions when launching the poker client. Also, the system status on the website turned to green with the message "all system are currently operational".
