Gamblers shocked as stabbed man drives himself back to Star Casino

This story goes to show that we must all be cautious when still outside our homes during very late hours of the day (say 10pm up to 3am), especially if you are spending your time at a casino area.

Police have established a crime scene at the outside premises of a casino after a man drove his car there, bearing multiple stab wounds and seeking for help in the wee hours of Wednesday, October 4.

The unnamed 27-year-old male victim had been inside The Star Casino at Pyrmont, NSW, Australia and while walking towards his car at 12:05am of October 4, two men robbed and then stabbed him several times in the chest as they escaped.

The injured man somehow managed to drive himself back to the casino. He received first aid by NSW Ambulance paramedics, and then was brought to St. Vincent's hospital. Fortunately, he only had non-fatal injuries.

His car was towed away for forensic examination purposes.

Police are currently searching for his assailants.

What a shocking and terrifying story this is and the person or persons who did this must be caught very quickly and punished. I am very glad that the injuries were not life threatening and i hope he can get over his ordeal

after winning in the casino you need to be very careful ... there are many criminals who follow the winnings and then pursue the person .... it seems to me that the police will work well and the criminals will be punished ..... after winning a little the feeling of joy and loss of caution

Sounds really bad that things like this happen ... But I guess it's only possible when you win and win big , as if he would loose , no one would even care about him ...
I hope that there was cameras around the area and the robbers will be found !

What miserable people exist in this world to try to kill a man for some money. Is unimaginable from my point of view or many people. I would try to increase their detention penalties. If you tried to kill a man to get prison for life without the right of conditional release. It is not normal to try to kill a man for some money.

this is nothing new for big countries such as australia and special for america!so many people,so many thieves,so always will be somebody who will attack people,because they need money for drugs or anything else!but its good that he is ok and that he could go back in casino!

Dunno what made them believe that this guy walked away from the casino with his pockets full rather than pissed poor like most average casino goers. It's like not even rocket science...

dule-vu my friends when it comes to thieves many Romanians citizens are experts in stealing. Although most are Gypsies from India or Pakistan but they do not kill for money. The same thing with Romanians which are drug addicts. Very rarely this happens but i do not understand why in countries like sua or australia something like that happens. Life is very important and comes a jerk who kill for money. This is horrible. Fcuk the governments these are guilty.

dule-vu my friends when it comes to thieves many Romanians citizens are experts in stealing.

Hey Europe is full with thieves as well. Does not matter Northern, Western or Eastern Europe. It could happen anywhere.

The whole world is full of crazy people who will seriously attack and injure someone for the benefits of a few dollars. It's not a USA or Australia or anywhere else specific problem. In every neighbourhood in every town in every city of every country, there are crazed do bladders who want to cause someone harm just to get something for themselves.

well I guess its kinda interesting experience about which he will be fortunate enough to tell his future children. not every day you get stabbed several times in the chest and walk away basically unharmed. what an experience.

Yes I think too that he is very lucky person because he is not killed ir have bery bug effect on his health, noe inly some small effects and some stress. Of course people need to be very careful because it is not safe to walk on late time. This is lesson to all.

It must have been a traumatic experience for a 27-year-old male. I am relieved to hear that his injuries are not life-threatening. I hope that law enforcement will catch and be able to convict the assailants.

I hope these bastards to be caught by the police quickly. These are not people are animals and they deserve to be imprisoned for life. I would change the current justice because it is not good with normal people. A few years in prison is too little for them. I would give hard punishment for these animals.

Not a story that is not similar to others, we have heard so far, happening in casinos.
The only weird about it, is that it happened in australia.
Usually all the ones are from usa.
He was lucky enough to survive the incident. I hope they will find
the ones responsible for it.
