A guitar-themed property of Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, has officially been opened to the public last October. It is considered to be the world's first guitar-shaped hotel and casino, and how much did it cost? A whopping $1.5 billion!
Spanning 36 storeys, the guitar-shaped Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood has been graced with the likes of famous stars including Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Khloe Kardashian and Sofia Richie during the opening night on October 24.
Featuring a 7,000-seat casino floor, over 3,000 slot machines and gaming tables, and 1,200 hotel rooms, this incredible blue-glass venue is definitely a major investment for the wealthy Native American Seminole tribe.
Consisting of around 4,200 individuals living in reservations throughout south Florida, the Seminole were the first tribe ever to enter the gaming industry after they opened a high-stakes bingo hall back in 1979.
Council chairman of the Seminole in Florida, Marcellus Osceola, said, "We're very thankful and we're blessed to be in a position that we can provide the general welfare and the help and assistance that tribe members need. The dollars that we make here will make life a little bit easier for our members when they have health care issues or when they are trying to buy a car to transport themselves with their families."
The hotel also includes a refurbished area for concerts and other events. It also has a giant pool and lagoon, spa and salon, restaurants, retail shops and of course, the casino area.
This guitar-shaped hotel makes a unique addition to South Florida's tourism spots as it is the very first in the world. A cool highlight about this place is its nightly light show which takes place every evening at 7:30pm. Guests will surely be entertained at the LED lights built into the guitar structure, showing a dance of varying intensity and colors, beautifully choreographed to match the music as high-powered light beams shoot out 20,000 feet into the air, resembling the guitar's strings.

It is quite cheap because this hotel has cost so little ( only a billion and 500 millions of dollars ) and it has 7.000 seat casino floor, over 3.000 slot machines or gaming tables and 1.200 hotel rooms. A luxury casino that will be successful with many customers and big money.

to come in this casino and to play something isnt expensive,but to stay in this hotel for few days,to eat and to play games probably is expensive!who know what are prices!but must admit that hotel and casino looks great and we will see lot of news and stories from hard rock in near future!
Wonder how could they say yes to this when it was only in the developmental phase. It's really not blending in with the surroudings and kinda weird to look at. Also South-Florida needs a lot of things for establish tourist destinations besides their large cities but a casino is bit seems out of place there. With or without Johnny Depp.
In America marketing is at a different level and large casinos are successful because there are many people coming in every year. USA is a country that is visited by many tourists and they don't just go to Disneyland. They also enter in casinos where they spend money. For this reason the big casinos have a profit and the investment of one billion and 500 millions is recovering in a few years.
