From experiance i prefeer to be the pair rather than the over cards.
Ofcourse after the flop come you know a little more about your position in the pot but i find over cards are not great post flop so i feel i have a better chance of winning a pot when im holding a hand rather than having a potential hand (pre-flop)
But ofcorse over cards like AK JQ or even 89 can have the straight and if they are suited then that opens up the flush draw but even with all that and the fact i have cought the straight and flushs when ive been in that situation i always feel as thou i've come from behind to do so.
Of corse a coin flip is just that 50 / 50 so each hand can and does win half the time....yeah! Big Smile

What he said (xxxbchxxx)...
The lower the pair, like 22, 33 etc., the lesser the chance of winning.
Otherwise 50/50.
