yes chessplayers multitable much longer than pokerplayers. i once played against a chessplayer at university, i was one of 30 opponents at a time and he beat them all. after a player was eliminated everybody there could take his seat and start a new game. i think he won 70 matches that day and it was very impressive as he still had time to chat with the players. well, it was a professional and the other players were amateurs and hobby players, but i think in poker even phil ivey wouldn't win 70 heads-up matches against amateurs simultanously.

I know the rules and the pieces movements, and I can even replay a game on a board from notation, but I'm not very good at actually playing it. Everyone seems to be a lot of moves beyond me...
Used to play chess all the time, from the ages of 8 to 18 and got pretty good at it. After high school, kinda've stopped playing. If I was to pick it up again, I'd probably suck at it big time.

Like many people, i know the rules, but im not good at this game (even if i like brain/strategy games like poker). For me, chess is to complex, i think its the perfect game for high potential people (with high IQ) since you have to represent yourself very difficult things...

Good old times... i remember playing chess for a while... I don't think i was good but... i was winning nearly every match at kurnik.pl (i know nothing to be proud of ). But when i tried playing like half year ago i played just 1 match was playing with some donk and nearly lost it (in the end i won) but i am all the time talking to myself like "omg what did u done?" , "can't u saw that 3 sec earlier?" etc

i used to play chess... i started playing when i was 8 and played till 12, then stwich to magic the gathering and after that Starcraft and now Poker... so YES, im a games lover <3

Chess is a great game, I used to play it a lot and can still remember some of the moves I learnt, my dad taught me when I was young but stopped playing me once I beat him 5-0. There was a chess club at school which was run by this prick of a teacher, I was quite a cocky little s**t and on my first visit challenged him to a game, boasting how good i was, so he annouced to everyone that he'd "show me a thing or two". I whooped him something stupid like 16 moves, the class cheered and I never went back, I preferred kiss chase and football
I never let that teacher hear the last of it though, which got be in trouble with the headmaster a few times. I remember laughing out loud in assembly the following year when it was anounced that he'd be taking the chess club again, I got detention for week Worth it though.
