Hi guys, as you surely knows, Pokerstars break the record of the biggest online tournament of poker (yet to confirm, but, anyway, it was the biggest tournament ever).
And maybe that you know too that Oskar69 won it ! GG to him and bravo
Seeing that, i was curious : i checked his stats, and it seems that its not really a good player (not to say its a bad player ) ). So, im asking myself : now that he have 50K, what will happens :
1° He stops poker, just happy to withdraw those 50K
2° He withdraw something like 3/4, keeps play poker with the last 1/4, but fast lose all his bankroll (playing just in limits where he have not enough ability) then stop poker (at high limits, maybe he keeps play 2$ sng's)
3° Again, withdraw 3/4, lose fast the last 1/4, then, he cant stop and deposit one more 1/4 of his 50K. Again, he loses... keep doing that, he finishes by lose everything
4° He withdraw nothing, plays at high limits, and finish by lose everything
5° He withdraw nothing and try some really big shot (like a 50k high roller tournament or five big 10K buy-in tournaments), lose all
6° One of the last 4 propositions, but he dont lose this time, he even win, and become pro !
You might think its a stupid poll, but i think its funny to think about it, and even more interesting to take this relfexion because Oskar69 might have been you or me : so what would YOU do in his situation!
(edit : oups, press enter by error, and as you see, proposition 6 is a lil bit not complete in the poll, but just read in the post and youll understand )

Seeing the stats, i think its kind of player trying to get back his money when he lose. And when you play in limits to high and lose, well only way to get back fast, its keep to keep playing this limit. I think he might make this mistake. Lets see in the next year

Hey, 25% of 50K is 12,50K. I think it is still too much to leave behind in a poker room, after winning 50K. I think i would leave 5K max! But i am a short micro level player, so maybe thats why i think this way. Even that way, i think that, if he was really just a lucky guy like you say, he is going to end up loosing what he left behind in the table, and that will happen even if he wins something at first times, because he will not withdraw more and the money will roll right out!

I'm guessing he'll withdraw a substantial amount, say 90% as I would. And seeing his stats, yes, he'll probably go well over his head and lose the rest

Think he willwithdraw 4/5 or something and then play with the rest, and I think when you can win a tournament like that it's not all about luck. So he can probably win some more.

if i won 50000 i would never withdraw more than $1000 a week...play online for the action not for the money...i think if he withdraws there will be complications!

Whats the deal with this guy... Can he play poker? Maybe he takes out the lot because he already has 1 million bankroll. Or as you asked if I were him I would take out the same percentage that I bought in with out of my bankroll. Then I would moved up cash game levels buying 100 BB at 5 % of my bankroll and if he's a winning player he won't bust out.

I think he will withdraw 3/4.... because i would do it for sure. I also heared he lost some of the cash so if he don't withdraw the cash he will loose all. You forgot about 1 option. He will looose 1/4 or 1/2 of the cash then withdraw all the cash he didn't lost and run crying.

think he'll withdraw 3/4 or more of it and continue to play with the rest. he's gonna win/lose is very difficult to say, but thee are more chances of losing if he straight away jumps limits without taking any coaching/ lessons

good poll to make people think..... I think he will withdrawal some cash but also go on to bigger and better things in poker....maybe not turn pro but deffo have more succsess as some times stats dont tell the whole truth. If he has come a long way from his begining style of play his game will defo improve as part of this nice win. Good luck to him and may he continue to win massive tournys.........
