Play on.
What can you do, poker cheats are active, I dont care about the ones who have been cought, this can only mean the site has been made safer.
Stick to the sites that catch cheats.

Absolute and Ultimate Bet are old news. They've both gone to great lengths to repair the damage and not allow it to happen again. I'll even go so far as to say that I am considering depositing @ one of those sites in the not too distant future. It comes down to playability of software, level of competition, and bonus offers available.

i would stop playing there for a while, and then come back...
i belive that experience is the only wat to fix mistakes so i now own an absolute poker account becos those security holes must be closed and knowing that at least we know that they are not keeping in secret those mistakes and they paid back to the ones that were afected for that cheating sessions, we dont know if other sites have passed the same thing, becos the sites must be affraid of loosing their players for that, and the best for them is avoiding the scandals and do as if nothing happends

Yes, it hurts. Tons of players deposit on rooms to play poker online assuming game rules are the same for all. It's a big damage not not only for rooms involved ( I don't care at all Thumbs Down ) but most of all for this marvelous game.

The day I heard about the cheating scandal that happpend on Absolute Poker, I cashed out my funds and promised myself that I would never play there again, and that I would sock Mark Seif in the nose if I ever saw him in real life Blink shortly after I did the same thing with Ultimate Bet, which had a similar cheating scandal with an "insider" of the company, and about socking Hellmuth in the nose, well, I just have always wanted to do that lol Big Smile

Here is a bit from Wikipidia

Insider cheating can occur when a person with trusted access to the system (e.g. an employee of the poker room) uses his position to play poker himself with an unfair advantage. This could be done without the knowledge of the site managers.

Perhaps the first known major case came to light in October 2007, when Absolute Poker acknowledged that its integrity had been breached by an employee, who had been able to play at high stakes while viewing his opponents' hidden "hole" cards.[15] The cheating was first brought to light by the efforts of players, whose saved histories of play showed the employee was playing as only someone who could see their opponents' cards could. [16]

In 2008, UltimateBet became embroiled in a similar scandal, with former employees accused of using a software backdoor to see opponents' cards. UltimateBet confirmed the allegations on May 29.[17][18] The Kahnawake Gaming Commission announced sanctions against UltimateBet as a result.[19]

Now I know why I am always losing at the sites Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!
