I'd have to agree with OP that he did get *donked* although I would have been pretty worried about flush draw here and probably wouldn't have got my chips allin this late in an MTT to go out on a coin flip/ but as it was it was a runner runner flush and looks like OPs read on villian was correct and he just got unlucky.
For those banging on about how the only hand they ever play is AA and everything else is rubbish. In an MTT you get the cards you're dealt, if you're unlucky and card dead sometimes you have to play hands like A3s rather than just playing mega tight and getting blinded out. In fact, playing ultra-tight is a good begginners strat but in later tourney stages you need to be a little more create cause unless you keep getting dealt QQ+ and AJs+ then you need to learn how to play hands other than monster pre-flop hands

players that call others donk should not even play poker, it means they can not handle the game and will never go anywhere, they always go out soon after

lol ffs this thread has ran like the wind when i started it i was still a bit raging and shocked of how i went out and maybe could have said it a bit better but i still think i did the the right thing it was a gamble call but i knew the guy had crap but and it was a chace to put me in the top 10 of the chips and what jess says there is bang on u cant just wait for the monsters all the time u have to make some moves and be a little sly but thanks to all the people calling me the donk and thanks to all the people backing me up and if the same thing happened again it could run a 100 times and the same result would maybe happen a few times so really i dont hate donkeys apart from when they get so lucky but hey s**t happens i suppose. anyway gl everyone think the entire forum has had its say on this now lol thank f**k
