A cool comeback!  +1
Most people, when they lose a big hand, where almost their whole stack is gone, people tend to throw the little bit left away. For example, you buy-in for $25, all of a sudden you lose a big hand and you are left with only $1.86, what do you do?

This happened to me in one of the lower limit tables that I was playing. So here I am left with $1.86. Well, I decided that if I get enough to double up on a lucky shot I could something with that. So I go all in and the rest folded, practically doubled my money just from the blinds.

From then on, I was able to turn those $1.86 into $55.10.

I decided to post this example because it happens all the time, so think twice before throwing the little bit that you have left away, you too can experience a great comeback! Thumbs Up

LOL, it´s ok, that $25 buy-in was not even 0.5% of my bankroll. Just thought it was a nice little story to share. Thumbs Up

i tend to throw that little bit around with reckless abandon, but i am always hoping to still come away from it good. the reason i start throwing it around is because you can often have good enough pot odds with any two live cards when your stack is so small compared to the blinds, especially on a table which is reraise happy you can push all in under the gun for 3-5 bb and get a couple of callers and if your lucky have someone reraise to 30 bb with AK and have everyone else fold, even 27 off in this situation is looking pretty good.

yep thats very true happend to me a couple of times to...when I have a big loss and stay seated with a few chip I go tilting and go allin with the first average hand I get (not even a premium hand) and than I'm totally dead lol...I'm going to give some more attention to this and try to build again also (or rebuy)

grtz ben

Online I love ring games. That´s mostly what I look for, but I always leave one SNG heads up table ready to go as well.

So, cash game and heads up sng. Thumbs Up

I must admit I am one of those people where I get that low just might as well go allin the next hand. Thats very nice you having a success story. I might try to just win it al back next time this ever happens

Golden, what I personally enjoyed about this story was the fact that the money didn´t matter to me, in a sense that losing what I bought in for didn´t matter, it didn´t have any impact on my bankroll whatsoever, the moral of this story is the challenge, knowing you can always turn it around. Thumbs Up

I would say Im in between - Take last nights $1000 Freeroll on PartyPoker.

Blinds are 100/200

Im sitting with 2500'ish chips

I got A, A

Player 1,2 got blinds
Player 3 calls
Player 4 bets 300
Player 5-7 folds
Player 8 calls
Player 9 fold
Me, raise to 900
Everyone folds but Player 4 and 8
Player 4 raises with all in - 1500
Player 8 calls - and is left with 300
I go all in - 2500
Player 8 calls

Now I dont remember the exacte flop, turn and river, but I end up with house but loose to player 8 who hits a higher house.

Tough luck...

Player 4 leaves the table, and im left with 700 - blinds are 100/200 still

Next hand I get A,10 of hearts and throws it all in the pot - 1 calls and my suited A, 10 loose to J, 8 off suit -

So to follow up on the question at hand - Do I 1shot leftovers... if I have the cards and less than 5 BBs, ill go all in on the best chance

Yes I tend to go on tilt after a devastating lose. But I have been down to like 150 chips in multi-table tournaments and ended up in the money. I think it has alot to do with what kinda mood im in and how much money i have on the account.

I recognize this Blink I almost lose the little cash I have left, and after I left it I think 'I could've won it back!'.. ah well Sad

usually when my bankroll gets low, I tend to play the micro sng tables. they seem to contain the worst players, therefore there the easiest to cash in. the biggest problem with playing cash tables at 5. 10. blinds is the rakes make it very difficult to make any sort of comeback when your down to two bucks. play a sng patiently, and overbet your big hands, half of the table will pay almost any price to see a flop. I play them selectively aggressive, seems to work out of me most of the time

Never give up, thats my credo but when im on tilt i dont think that anything applies. That loose play paying off was same thing but on low limits, i went down to something like, $0.30, and got out with $17 or $18. Won couple of SnG`s when i felt to 1.5x BB, finished 28th in 3000 players tournament after being sucked out in early stages to 100 or less, 100 tops, chips. Never give up and go allin next hand, unless its A-A. That is a jackpot if youre down and A-A comes, everyone thinks youre on tilt and calls at least.

I played a freeroll once, and won 2 €. After loosing the first €. i turned the other one to 50 €. After that i bought 6 scratch tickets and didnt win anything. I lost it all Disagree
