i know what u mean but, i dont do it all the time but i will take a stab at the pot on the flop just to see where i am. this all depends on ur image at the table and ur opponent but if u have a good image and only cards anyone at the table have seen have been winning hands well, i said 1200 on the turn but i think thats a bit small i would prob go for 1750-2200 on the turn and if he only had top pair he may find that hard to call and if he did i would give up and check call on the river as i would think he had a set on the turn or the flush but after that i would be really wary. I dont see any prob with aggression. i dont mean do this kind of tactic with a calling station. i dont like how bch played the first part of it but where it all went wrong is him reraising the guy instead of just calling, he would have only lost 3000 in his chips and still been a happy man. u may think my way is a bit gun ho and crazy but next time ur in a hand and have a monster the opponent will think u are a mad man and pay u off big time just have to be sure u have the best hand that time Blink Thumbs Up

Hello everybody!
I think you played well. It's just bad luck. You almost had the nuts because you just think at the straight flush that happens so rarely. In addition to a straight flush when the flop. The guy has too much luck.
See you soon for new posts lol! Smile

I agree with bad luck. Normally nobody plays 35s or calls preflop.
I would have thought of a flush but with a full house no problem. Just this time it was really sick.
Shock

i would of checked pre-flop check/fold on flop
3 hearts on flop damn scary
but str8 flush on the flop like that was verry lucky

meh that's a bad beat not much you can do really we have all just called the raise on the river there...end up winning the hand and then cursing ourselves we didn't reraise allin so good play...gl the rest of the weekend at the tables Smile

I would have fold, because i didn't stand a chance to win. That is my opinion, but everyone plays different, that's why I like poker. Poker is a game also of luck.

Hi xxxbchxxx.

I play the same way. Maybe (sure) a storng bet in flop. Well, nothing to do.

Bye and better luck next time!!

You havent made the right first bet in the first play. ok, so you only had a pair of 4's and a straight draw, but you should have eliminated opponents earlier. When you bet stronger (like 750, 3/4 of the pot) your direct oponent would make a big raise and, at that time, you probably would considerate the possibility of he's having, at least, a flush at the flop. Then, you would see the 5 and the other guy just had to call your bets. How can you say you havent seen the possibility of his flush? There were three h at the flop, thats the first things someone remembers!!! Even if he had not straight flush, with your hand, you would always think you were behind till the river. Too risky for you!

Very strange situation , i think i rise , or do litle bluf . And dont play terribly before river Blink

I´d have suspected a higher full by the betting on the river, hard to decide without having judged the mood of the players from previous hands.

I wouldnt have bet the on flop and turn, just check call. River is just pretty sick, nothing you can do about it, but i dont like betting with such a weak hand on flop and turn, w/e the quantity of money u put in is.

I voted for fold, but the thing is that on the table sometimes everyone makes mistakes that afterwards they regret.

My advice is to take this as a lesson and improve you game.

guy flops a straight flush and gives u a running full house , that means you must of been playing at full tilt lol cause thats where all that set up crap goes down. be honest did you puke when he turned it over? lol i would have

i think you played well, just got one of those bad luck draws. happens to everyone
