I never ever show my cards. Online, I have the automuck checked options from the moment I install the poker site. IRL, I make damn sure to muck them everytime and in home games I shuffle them around a bit with the remainder of the pack when I muck so no one can even take a pinch

yeh, when in doubt, muck. And showing cards is def something that you shouldn't be doing very often, if you are, maybe think about what you're hoping to achieve by doing it.
I'd only really do it for a monster hand (RF/SF) and wanted bragging rights. Else if I had good reason to believe I could send opponent into tilt.
