i got 50$ there from another page (while this offer here was off....) and now one week is over and its 100$ of hard work and a lot of sucks (on both sides. Dont wanna complain, i was sucked, i was lucky ) I wont waste 1/10 of the BR ....

lol FTP blocked my account ages ago, cause my dad & his partner had about a million play money accounts on there (they arent good at compuers). And I emailed FTP and tried to get my account unblocked but after I finally emailed them everything they asked for then they want my dad + his partner to do the same and they couldnt be bothered so now I can't play on FTP. (Unless I get everyone with my surname to go through a rigorous ID checking process). I play on other sites.
If you get this going elsewhere I'd probably be in with enough notice.. pretty much any other room I can play on lol, just no FTP.

There's one day left to sign up guys. No one can say that they weren't given plenty of notice. As it stands there are only 9 players registered since our unexpected loss of Dozn01 (hopefully he'll be back). Lots of people looking forward to the next one but I have to warn you if we don't get more people in this one there's not going to be a lot of motivation for organising another.
I'm confident that most people are simply waiting to sign up on the day but please if you have a moment register now. We can then talk sooner about organising the next one. It may be a different site and buy in, which takes time to agree on. We could also have the points-based league I suggested (see above) or a league of a different kind but there's no point in discussing it with only 9 players.
It really isn't that much for a one-off tourney especially for those who got the take2 bonus. A cheaper option may follow but turn out for this first tourney is very important for any tourney to come.

An $11 tourney on a Thursday night was never going to create that much interest, as I've said before. Seems a bit harsh that you would hint at not continuing, based on the turn-out for this one.

It wasn't my intention to pressure anyone into entering by hinting that there might not be another. I was merely trying to encourage those who were thinking about signing up to do sooner rather than later.
And what I say is true since flippedchips spent several days trying to organise a tourney. I can't speak for him but I'm sure this turn out will be disappointing and discouraging. I personally can only play at fulltilt and since I was the person who set this up I don't really feel like trying a different week if I can't be sure of greater numbers. Anyone else is welcome to have a go but it has been suggested several times in the past and nothing has come of it.
Also with respect I completely disagree with you about a thursday night. There are many people who can't make weekends. whatever day we chose not everyone could make it. Some people can't afford this buy in but others prefer it. So changing the conditions will only swap one minority group for another. This tourney is therefore representative of what can be achieved.
I'm not expecting a huge turn out but I still think more are planning to enter. I want to start discussing another asap cos it took surprisingly a lot of effort and time to get this far. I'm sure those who would have liked to enter but can't right now for whatever reason are hoping for a chance soon. But if we only have a dozen people in this, exploring more options, different days, different sites etc will only result in smaller groups.
