I think this is very dangerous, letting a seven year old girl play. Even some adults are stupid with the money they risk etc, and only the psychological aspect of poker is in my opinion way too big for such a little girl. I play since i'm sixteen, started with some freerolls, and then a guy I knew who won like 20k online gave me some money, because he tought I was playing pretty good for an amateur. Always tripled the money, but lost it after because of tilting after bad beats etc. The fact that now I do pretty good if I play live is that I started pretty early, but I,wouldn't recommend it. Now for exemple, if I,would win a huge amount online, I just know I'd ask some advice to some more experienced players I know about what to do with the money. I believe this father is just crazy, and in a good poker game it can be quite hard psychological, especially when there's somepressure on you. I remember a few deep runs of myself a few months ago in some mtt's, there is a lot of stress involved, which you shouldn't give to a seven year old. Also my last bigger win in live poker, a 40 men tournament where first place was 200 euros, I remember myself sitting there and getting really nervous, especially because there was one guy where I couldn't get a read on, but he always seemed to have one on me, I can tell you, if I were younger I wouldn't have won the tournament, especially because I HAD to win this tournament to pay for my books off the university. But we'll see if we ever hear from this girl, just not a good idea to let her play games for money at that age.

Imagine playing poker professionally for 40 years and then watch back at your life ... you havent created anything ... you have many times been forced to sit infront of the computer instead of being with your family/friends ... you have only lived like a parasite taking other fools money ... you havent contributed with anything that makes this world a better place ...
... i just couldnt stand that.
Poker should only be played on the spare time with your friends, not 8h per day professionally.

O my f..g god, what kind of parents let kids play poker so young. Poker is very addicting game and gives you lots of bad habbits, like staying up late, drinking coffee or energy drinks, using to much computer, thinking all day about playing again, feeling bad about the losses, blamening others beeing donks. Damn, looks like i should stop myselt too, right now and im 35 years old.

It would be a great irony if the parents train her like Rocky when he is meeting Dolph in that movie (RockyX), and then, in eleven years, when she is old enough to play, poker will be totally dead because of some superbots or laws or whatever.

jist 7 years and made for poker its quite stupid there they dadys watch she can loose all just in 12-15 years all the family money or just win some milions its we need some time to wait and also dadys watch your children more carrefull

lol shes only playing poker ffs not fighting wars, you get alot of games where there is way more stress that kids do like chess and many more. davoodoo tell me what the hell have u been doing to make the world a better place lmao. I would also say that most of you say that poker is more like a sport and it should be recognised as one as it is not like gambling on horses ect. so if u all say that and you agree with kids playing any other sport where the pressure of winning is always big like in football, chess and any sport for that matter as anyone who takes a game serious even kids hate to lose, i woul also say that every game is addictive as thats why people who become pro's in sport are pro's because of the love for the gameand in most cases play it constant when they are kids, but hey thats just my opinion

You´ve got 7 yr old chess prodigies, why not in Poker? Good luck to her, if that´s what she wants, and not just Daddy.
Children learn a far faster rate than adults. Their brains are like sponges at that age. What can make them lethal players is they do not have the same emotional attachments in the sense of gains or losses that adults have aquired. This makes it far easier for them to attack and be aggressive. We'll probably here from this kid in the not to distant future.
