Promised in some thread I´d make a post on this, and since I keep my promises...here we go: I´m also doing this for the regulars who want to get into the $1.000 freeroll.
If I had sticked to this i would have made it to first place, but it´s tough, too tough for me, so maybe someone else is up to it.
First of all, it´s NOT Poker. It´s the worst Donkfest I´ve ever seen.
So there are a few simple rules to make it in the points.
1. Start late. Wait 20-25 min before signing up. By that time almost half the field is out (the worst Donks at least). You also didn´t waste 1/2 hour paying blinds for nothing.
2. Always fold in anything but the button or the Cutoff, unless you are holding the top 4 pairs, AA KK QQ JJ. Really! These are idiots and will raise or go all-in with anything, so let them. The blinds are SUPER SLOW, you have time...
3. NEVER go in raising. Only limp. It´s not Poker, I know, but it´s useless putting a raise in when you know some idiot will raise anyway with an inferior hand. So you can fold when that idiot or idiots go all-in, and lose minimum chips. If you have a great hand, someone will raise for you anyway. + they never know what you are holding.
4. Only play late position if possible. The button or the cuttoff. They have ALL read about "stealing", and think that a button raise commands respect. Idiots, like I said.
5. NEVER go all-in the first 2 hours, unless you are holding AA or KK pre-flop. Otherwise ONLY when you have the nuts. And I mean the NUTS, like a flush A high, with no pairs on the board. Be careful and "safe".
6. Don´t worry that you are near last position, there are plenty of idiots left to double up, and that is the way you are going to make the final table, unless you are lucky as s**t and this is YOUR night over 3.600 runners. (don´t count on it). I made four final tables playing this way first half of the month.
7. Even if you have only 4.000 chips after 1 hour, you can just log off and make the money. It is useless untill final table, but you will have 8 cents. the blinds are SO slow and the players are SO stupid. Really, I tried it.
8. Once you are down to 80 players, the real Poker begins. There are still plenty of idiots (the lucky ones), so you can double up if you have the nuts. Be patient........ I cannot stress this enough. I lost my patience halfway through the month and it was fatal.
Been on the final table as last and come in 1st. Patience.... As the stacks get bigger, the idiots will give them to you. A simple all-in, and you´re at the top.
I couldn´t do it anymore, the last week, and I took some risks, as you should playing Poker. It was fatal to Donk play if you read my long post.
Anyway, good luck to all of you seeking the Leaderboard !

agree with you completely on this one jack...although i'm not really excited on playing these freerolls at tilt, but when i do join, i do exactly what you have written here...
it's tough out there..love playing the freerolls at party on the other hand...way easier to go deep. unless you ran into some serious hand. i join there before the end of level 3 as well..by that time, the field is like 700-800, with a lot of players short-stacked already. made the final table the other night, almost made the final table again last night.finished 20th.was sitting 6th-10th in chips i think, ran into a nut flush on the turn and a full house on the river..happy with my play though..made some really good calls and laydowns

I agree with a lot of what you said Jack, and when I play a style similar to what you described I do end up going decently far with a shot at making the final table. However, with the typical small amounts awarded for going the distance, and the time investment required, I will often shove fairly early with something good, 1-3 people will call and if I double up or triple up early like that, it will carry me very deep. If not, I do something else.

Very nice flex! Sounds like you´ve got the hang of these tourneys. I wish you nerves of steel for March!

That´s pretty much the whole thing in a nutshell.

That´s the other way to go.
Kind of what happened in the last weekend I tried playing these. I was SO fed up throwing away AK and QQ and stuff to an all-in which I knew I had beat. SoI took some risks. The problem is you´re coinflipping then, and when you really want that final table on a specific day, it just doesn´t pay off right then and there.

Thanks Jack but I don't think there is any sound advice for bingopoker donk rolls.. And honestly if you took the time to type all that your fingers deserve an applause.

Great information Islandjack; I printed the info out and have it beside me, hell I might sleep with it. You guys at BRM have helped me out a lot. I'd like to thank you all. Your point about being patient and not getting frustrated with the donks I must dwell into my mind. Great Thread for a beginner like me!
Great info... i was playing a similiar strategy as this, had about 150bb stack up till the end of the 2nd hour... WHEN i had the most mistimely disconnect, my router reset itself and was down for the next hour and half while i had to go on an epic hunt to retrieve my internet details... when it did reconnect to the internet, i found myself sitting with a 4.5K stack and the BB of 6k two stops away from me lol i see Q9o infront of me... SHIP it! i get two callers AQs and KK... meh ... flop JTx.. ..turn x... river K! giving me the straight well several double ups and dodging lots of bullets later im 6/17t.. lets se where this goes eh
I give up with this fulltilt freerolls just to many Russians and eastern Europeans ( have you heard me moan about this before?) had tha chip lead for some time in the 8pm last night, lost most of my 300k to a dam lucky Russian, sure the maths are that with so many of the fookers playing you will run into them its bound to happen with maybe 3 non-Easterns on your table , I never used to play any tournament with more than 1k fields and never freerolls,, but for the challenge of the BRM leaderboard we gave it our best try, well I retire defeated , on fulltilt anyway just to many idiots it puts you off your game , it did Jacks head in now mine, lol,, anyway good luck I will stick to party at least there the invasion from the East has not reached epidemic proportions yet,,gl all,,

wow, i must say: i am really shocked how fucked up some people are playing those tournaments. i mean ok, i wouldn´t say i am one of the best, but calling all ins with 47 o or raises with Q8 and going up to the river with mid pair..... and winning all the time... that has nothing to do with poker!
