Just wondering why my dominate hand loses literally every single time at online poker. I have not come close to winning a tournament now in a number of months. I have the dominate hand going in. On the flop I am still the dominate hand.. I get pushed and I lose literally every single time. I am so frustrated I am seriously considering giving up online poker. THis is aweful. And it is at every single site I play. I give up!!!!!!

Tell me about it. I am almost the same, but not EVERY single hand though. About 60% I guess. Sometimes Im wondering ... is that the way poker sites support the underdogs? Anyway, still happy with the rest 40% of winning lol lol lol

Well... I would settle for 40%. Thats a pretty good percentage. I am just tired of the constant bad beats and unbelievable suck outs with one or two card draws... its just totally unreal at this point. Like I said.. I am ready to quit. Can't even finish in the money in a freeroll any more.

Yes.. .I think if I could get a 40% winning percentage it would be awesome. I am down around 5%. at 40 you would make a lot of cash. that would mean that you would win 40 out of every hundred hands you played. that would be very very good for online poker.

Nah ... what I meant was not 40% winning percentage. I meant 40% winning of my dominate hands. It also means that I am losing 60% whenever I have dominate hands

Been in that situation before and its pretty annoying. Not that you can do much about it though. Either take a small break or change the way you play those cards.

Well.. I went to William Hill to change my luck. Got into the p***********y freeroll for fun. Placed 90th out of 700 players. Of course payout was 80 or better. Got sucked out holding AK... flop came AA3.... got pushed all in... who would not call holding that after the flop. Of course he was holding five five and the river was a five to give him a full house and knock me out. Oh Lucky Me.!!!!! Then I look at the leader board and find the guy ginnayi69 (who is now in first place) also has ginnayi89 in seventh place.... .coincidence????? NOT LIKLEY>. what a joke

Greetings ICYourBluffin,
Don't see you on the forums much, and sorry to hear you're getting hosed out there, eh? All I can say is take a break, a decent one. Then come back to it. You're on a losing streak, it happens to us all, even the pro's. The only way to fight it is to play you're "A" game with good bank roll management and ride it out.
Good luck.
Also lol @ LNP, and don't for get to synergize backward overflow, sometimes that helps.

I can relate to your story more than you can imagine For me it goes something like this, at the start i go strong, my ''opponent reads'' pay off, and i double-triple my starting stack, then my hands become useless to say the least, it goes like that for 2-3 rounds, and than the horror begins. I get granted with a very solid hand, JJ+, AK, AQs, things like that.. I get an all in from a short stack, i call, i lose by something silly.. Then i get an AA, i raise, i get re raised hard, i go all in, called.. The opponent has AJ off suit.. What happens? He gets a flush on his jack! I am out..
I gotta say, i am totally imune to all that, no rage no nothing, its just i lost to straights and flushes so many times no.. I was thinking about doing a stats review, counting how many time i win with a non dominant hand and how many times my opponent win with their non dominant hands, lol, i think its something on the lines of 15%-85%.
Yesterday actually lost to a straight flush when i had flush (ace high), a 1 % chance on the flop, TRUE STORY!
