Hey there mobsters,
As i have to protect myself from doing stupid things (playing zoom and mtt or sng with high buy ins), I withdrew the money I made last weeks on Pokerstars.
So I start again from scratch, normally I would just make a deposit. But not this time, I am eager to know if I can build a bankroll without depositting.
To be honest my BR is not really zero, but there is 43 cents and 65 fpp, I have a reload bonus running aswell for 20 dollar (pokerschool) on wich I need 32 more points to clear the first ten dollar and 282 points to clear the second 10 dollar. For the VIPbonus( of 10 dollar) I need 132 more points.
So for the next week I will give it a go on the freerolls and with wathever money I will be making from them and what ever is in my PS account. ( if after a week things really wont work out, I will make a deposit and let U all know that I failed........
I will update here and place a screenshot of the PS cashier.
As I had 65 fpp, I decided to try 40 of them for a hyper sattelite tournament for the hotter 2.20. I won the ticket and decided to unscribe from the tournament and take the 2.20 in tournament dollars, so the start is there...lets see where this is going.........

Hey mate, first of al veel geluk! But why do u want to start from nothing if I may ask, to proof to yourself you can manage a bankroll?
The real money I have in my account was also based initially from freerolls (as I grew from 0 on PS) and also bankrolls (like from BRM). Never deposited any money of my own, besides the use of the "poker money", like an investment on a potential poker career. But if you told me to start all over I would never want to. Prefer to stick to the limits I play now.
P.S.: reminds me of Andre Coimbra (Team Pokerstars Online) challenge. Tries to start over with $100 and goal is $100 K in 1 year. He has now around $ 20 K I think.

Well, its not really from zero as u said but if you had written "from silverstar with 40 cents and 65 points to ?????" as a title it wouldn't be as catchy . Jokes aside I wish u the best of luck with ur challenge mate . Imo with ur experience this should be quite doable. Just have to hit one of those vip freerolls (do not forget the milliin dollar one this month)and continue from there.

Good luck with this! It is definitely possible to build yourself a bankroll from 0 But it takes time. I've done it a lot of times on party poker But now that I have a job and is not relying on poker winnings for a social life as before, I've started a new challenge: Don't withdraw for a year after starting from 0. I probably won't withdraw even after my challenge is completed since I feel confident that if I stick to my bankroll management I'll be able to successfully climb in levels.
I'm sure you can do so yourself if you just put up rules for yourself and stick to them! In any case, good luck with this and may the cards be with you!

Thanx mate..... The reason to this is not to proof I can manage a BR, as I do have a BR on Full Tilt. No it just seemed like a challenge as I never tried this be4. while reading on the Mob site I saw that loads of people take up challenges and that its actually a good way to improve ur game. It will hopefully give me more discipline and besides that it just looked like fun

Good luck with your quest mies! I have done this challenge before and found it to be a lot of fun, and really makes you work at your game. I find that after scrounging and playing hard for a few dimes to increase your bankroll you are less apt to blow it than if you just deposit your own money. Keep us updated!

You did a good beginning there, or i should i say start over with the tournament ticket, so that allows you at least to play low buy ins, while trying some more freerolls and qualifiers from it. gl and hope you can cash out again.

Ok first update.....
started palaying 10 cents sng's with 360 people...OMG that was sick...1st 1 second hand AA.. I call an all in and 3 more people called.... I lost out to all 4 of them as 2 made a flush, 1 a straight and the last one hit his set with 2 2.
As i lost the 2nd and 3rd Sng also really fast I gave up on them...
I know its not really good brm , but I decided to invest biggest part of what was left into a 50 50 sng from 1,50 dollar. Made the last 5 and had a small proffit played another one and this time I was second, so have now over 5 dollar.
Again I know playing the 1.50 50 50's was not really good brm, but these are the games I ussually play and on the biggest part of the players, I have some notes and a labelcolor. so that made me a lot better prepared. And from experience I know that if U play these really tight, u almost never get into trouble.

Hey,.....now ya learn something new every day,...and one of the reasons it's a good idea to be hooked up here on BankrollMob...
...that being....
...I always wondered if there was a way to convert FPPs to cash or whatever.
"...As I had 65 fpp, I decided to try 40 of them for a hyper sattelite tournament for the hotter 2.20. I won the ticket and decided to unscribe from the tournament and take the 2.20 in tournament dollars..."
Kind of a round about way of getting there,....but effective. Now instead of being restricted to using the FPPs for buying into tourneys for those only,....now the T$ can be used for ANY tourney...!

Ok next Update...
Been playing 50 cent (45 people) and some freerolls and played a few more 50 50 (1.50) Fell back to 3 dollar, then had a 4th place in a 50 cent and made a few wins on the 50,50's. also won a few cents with the 10 cent mtt and with a freeroll..little over 9 dollar after 1st day....not a bad start at all. need now 20 more fpp's to clear first 10 dollar of bonus...
Thank U all for ur comments hope the cards be with U all
Mies
------------ Ok here is the next update...
It's going well..Br keeps growing....need 9 more vpp's to get first 10 dollar of intelli pokerbonus been playing some 1,50dollar 50-50's and atm 8 out of 10 in the money. also won little over a dollar in 2 freerolls .... Bit disapointed bout the last freeroll ( tv freeroll) as I stood in top 10 for long time ...but lost biggest part of my stack when I got KQ on BB and the flop shows J and 10 ( other card was 3 ) Guy with 3 quarters of my stack makes a large raise...turn 8 So I make the flush and still have the royal straightflush draw...He shoves, I call ..He shows 3 3 so I am ahead.. River 10 So he makes full house..biggest part of stack gone..next hand KK ...A raise , so I shove , he calls and shows 10 10 and makes his set on turn.... SO I just took a break...wheater is fantastic here atm... am back now with fresh confidence , see if I can make the BR grow a bit more...Hope to reach 25 dollar when its bed time

what i like particularly about your posts: THEY JUST SMELL OPTIMISTICALLY your attitude is excellent- just pure positivism. this is kind of rare diamond which easily is lost in all the sh1t of "when da iz mai mony by in moi akount" "where is my money" "when do i receive my ndb" "freerolls are bad because of this and that" "my armpit doesnt have an aroma of peach" etc.
