Not many players entered on day1 but the list of big names is impressive. Sam Trickett, Michael Mizrachi and Jack Salter are three of the biggest names in tournament poker and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top

An event with a large number of big name players and it will be hard to predict who is going to do well at this game. I am pretty sure that this is one of Sam Tricketts' favourite casinos and has played there quite often so he will love playing there,if I had to bet on the outcome though I would probably have to go for one of the Germans. As this is a party poker event lets hope that on Sunday Party poker don't decide to lock the dealers out and just cancel the event!!

Poker is virtually impossible to pick a winner in... Even if one player was 100 times better than the rest of the field, they would still only have a very low % chance of winning the tournament, whereas in something like snooker for example, O'Sullivan will go into virtually every tournament he plays with around a 25% chance at least of winning it.

I know but I like to keep an eye on some of the best tournaments and it is good to pick someone and then follow their ups and downs, especially people like Vanessa Selbts,Philip Gruissem and in this tourny Michael Mizrachi could be the one to get a good stack and then go crazy.
