Okay, some new measures from how the forum is performing with the latest updates:
Loading the forum frontpage: average 1,2 secs Loading a thread: average 0,2 secs
So it went from: Frontpage: 4,3 to 1,6 to 1,2 secs Thread: 4,2 to 0,4 to 0,2 secs
I think now it's acceptable speed, so if things start to go wrong again we will look into some further updates and upgrades - but for now, mission success
