Hitchcock said he's not concerned about the situation, which happened after Tarasenko, who has four goals in the series, got limited ice time during a power play late in the period. "I don't think it's ice-time related," Hitchcock said. "I think he felt like he could have helped on that power play. We didn't get a change on the power play because we had the thing in the [offensive zone] all the time, so ... that's what happens when you've got a guy like that [who] wants to make a difference. I love it, I love it in him."

Predators team scope: Nashville did not practice before traveling to Anaheim. Forward Cody Bass sustained a lower-body injury in the first period of Game 6 and his status for Game 7 is unclear. Predators forward Craig Smith returned in Game 6 after missing two games with a lower-body injury and is expected to play. He said the Predators are confident they can win Game 7 on the road. "It's do or die at this point," Smith said. "We like our game right now. We're always going to try and get a little better. We've definitely had some good games in the past [at Honda Center], but we're expecting a big push from them." The Predators are 1-for-23 on the power play in the series.
Ducks team scope: Anaheim hasn't been happy with its play in the past two games and is focusing on coming up with a better plan for Game 7. Penguins team scope: Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) practiced Wednesday but there is no timetable for his return.
