Nice story there. I wonder how they finished that game. Was there any collusion at first, one did favors to another etc, if they met at the tables before busting out Probably they acted like professionals, and played every hand normal. But its love so you never know lol.
Hehe I have seen that happen in home games but never in a real tournament like this. The odds of this happening are so low too! I didn't even know Jason Mercier had a wife.
I don't think there's any real collusion but I'm sure they respect eachother's bets a lot more in order to not bust each other. That's what anyone would do if they played against someone they love in a big buy-in event.
probably because when the first Mercier went out the other had to go out too as he'll not wait for ages for the other one to go busto to go home so maybe they had a deal before that game

Probably they will know more each other too in terms of "pokerfaces" They must have better readings, than they have with the other players. It will be interesting with a case like this on a final table. There lost of things can happen

yeah obviously one didn't want to wait for other, so all-in with 26off was the obvious move to make, quite strangely this amazing rag hands didn't win, but hey sometimes odds do hold up. congrats to the merciers, surely they will show to mercy for their opponents at the tables.
