Women upset in Ladies Event with Topless Male Dealers at BOM Poker Festival

The female participants in the Ladies Event at the Battle of Malta poker festival were in for a weird and awkward surprise when they sat down to play cards on Sunday night. Based from social media posts, the €110 NLHE Ladies Event at Casino Malta appeared more like a strip poker game, as all of the all-male dealers at the tables were shirtless. While some thought the sight to be quite amu[...]   Read more » Women upset in Ladies Event with Topless Male Dealers at BOM Poker Festival

well it is true this is not seen every day hahaha but well at least the women had to enjoy seeing men so I just hope that at least it was nice the view hahaha for the next one if something is done like that I would like to go by the way you go to play you enjoy the good view haha although layers distract you more than you enjoy playing hahaha Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

This thing is not correct and has no fair play because all 92 women poker players, they should have been asked whether it is okay to accept this or not. It's like you going to the restaurant and the waiter forces you to eat something which you don't like.

and if it is true, it is true but if you went to play, I suppose at least something informed they should have been before putting to play ... I wish in my city they would do something like that one day but that is girls because lazy I do not want to see sticks Hahaha Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

Male dealers who were scheduled to deal the tournament were offered an additional €50 to do so shirtless. The professional dealers getting paid a set hourly wage while dealing tournaments found themselves in a predicament given the cash incentive.
A twist in a working day

Big LOL Big Smile well if I was a woman and was in that tournament, I would be very upset too as most of those dealers were not that hot and if they wanted to have a game with topless male dealers at least choose hot ones with nice body look.

Yeah, I mean I don't want to sound sexist but if they would look like male strippers with large sixpacks then it would have been probably less outrage about it.
But yeah, no woman wants to look at half naked mid-aged man dealing cards IMO...

These ideas are not accepted by women, but if the situation was the opposite and the male players would have had almost naked women, i think they accepted this. I hope in the future, there is no casino in Asia or Africa, that can offer you more... than is offered so far at BOM Poker Festival.

OMG snowflake get over it.
some of us have real problem in this world.
Be happy you do NOT have Justine Trudeau leading your country like I do here in Canada.
Yes I call the PM Justine on purpose. if it is going to act like an it snowflake i'm going to gall it Justine.

I do however think forcing the players at a poker event to look at ugly, homely, topless male dealers is wrong! regardless or whether or not it is an all women's event or a co-ed event.

I wonder how much these bare-breasted male dealers got paid for posing.

I think, from my point of view, that these dealers were employed from different casinos and i do not think they received as much money as the strippers. They received as much as they were satisfied, of course and i'm sure that they would repeat this, if they were called elsewhere.

they had two problems with this kind of tournament!first they didnt told to any of this players that mens will be without shirts and that this is tournament like that, maybe lot of them wouldnt even start playing if they knewt!
and second problem is that dealers who didnt want to do that, even they offer 50 e more, they didnt allow them to deal and they changed them for another dealer!

Dude, you act like Canada is like some backward third world place, and you have it rough with your politicians.
You could have much-much worse tickets on the prime minister lottery - just take a good look at my country.

even from your country, there is always some country that have worse prime minister then you,but that is something that you cant affect at this moment!
this is not same as for this subject, but also this people decided for this tournament, even they didnt asked any of this womens,so this how politicians also make choices!

I think the idea was taken from western films where the girls in the casino were more naked and they probably tried to do something with more naked men, and to see what reactions women will have and to know if it will catch the public with that.
