Hey everyone! I used to play poker regularly (multiple cash tables and some tournaments) between 2008 and 2015 and I'm wanting to get back into it. I was just wondering, what would you say has changed in the game since then? What are the best sites for bonuses and such, and where are the softest tables, regular cash games, rush poker, SnG's? All input, advice and tips are appreciated 👍🏻

I'm an mtt player, so unfortunately I can't help you, but I can tell you that at least mtt is a lot harder now than in 2015, especially in midstakes. So my advice would be to take your time, start slowly and don't play a lot of tables. I think you might be surprised how much the game has changed in eight years. Good luck

PartyPoker and Bwin have good games nowadays at micros , many sats to get your ticket very cheap , also freerolls to play and build your bankroll for free . These freerolls run 24/7 , mini cash is easy , but for more you need to be careful short stacked . My withdrawals were paid instantly at Bwin and PartyPoker .
Well, 2015 really wasn't yesterday... I think the GG poker network is the perfect place for you to start to get back into the game! There are plenty of fish on this network at all limits and in all game types!! they literally always give you everything!! feel free to try it! But, avoid theircasino games, which can be "quite tricky"! Good luck if You decide to go for it!!

Changes have happened everywhere. Technology has developed so much that it affects almost every area of our lives, including gambling. In my opinion, it's worth reading, there are certainly plenty of articles or videos on the subject. Also try playing poker games again. Take small steps forward and you will surely know what and how in some time.

Thanks for all your replies. It's much appreciated. I do have a gg poker account but I need to upload some documents for me to continue using it. I used to like that site too. I've never played on bwin so will have to check that one out too. I'll get back into playing soon and see what it's like and see how the games are. Thanks again all

Probably you will need to read some material about strategies. Poker has changed a lot during these years. GTO strategies and solvers are interesting tools if you play high stakes.

Well I think in micro and low stakes it's still possible to be a winning players, and not use huds or work with solvers, but in midstakes and highstakesm working with solvers, and use huds is a must. Of course I am talking about long sample, of you are recreational players and playing just for fun 1-2 tournament per week it's not that important
