well, sometimes i set it up so that i look like a fish first few bad hands (if the bets arent too big) i call untill the river or make small raises on trash hands and then of course show my cards, just untill they think i have no idea what poker is. Then i go sit out a few hands and when i'm "back" i tighten up. Then i get a lot of callers when i start playing those great hands, because they all think i'm a bluffer who has no idea how to play.
Other times i play extremely tight at first, only premium hands, do not attempt any bluffs, only raise with those hands when i hit and also always show my cards and then after they think that i'm the tightest player at the table i start bluffing a few hands and stop showing any hand, even if i do have the nuts i dont show anymore.
It works most of the time for me. And i always always watch how my opponents play the hands that i'm not in.

It is harder to play bluff poker then it is to play Poker. What I like to do dont bluff at all for at least 10 rounds. It is hard to say when to bluff. Alot of times I just use my Gut as when is the right time. there are alot of factors that come into play on when to bluff. Some say this some say that the truth is you can never be shure that you are not bluffing into the nuts. One thing I have seen that kinda works for me "kinda" Preflop soneone raises a little gets 2-4 callers. I then reraise like8xs the BB. The flop comes I bet pot as long as no ace hits.. Works pretty good but you cant do it alot.
I will not encourage Bluffing as it has been the downfall of somany new players. If you are here getting the free money what you need to do is buyin small tables and grind your way to the top. by then you will have a good idea of when to bluff and not to bluff. Keep It Simple. Play the Cards not the Players.

thats a pretty risky play you really have to play attention to the flop becuase if 1 of those other guys hits the flop big then you have just lost alot of money... im curious tho how many times have you done this and has it ever not worked?

haha propoker420 i would hope thats the only time you bluff, because bluffing when you feel your opponent has the nuts doesnt really seem like a great idea hahaha

I play pretty tigh early on in tourbnament play. I try not to bluff very much. But i do like to bluff if I win a very big hand later in the tournament and find myself up against the same player the next hand Ill take a stab at it.

I like bluffing.. but even more i like re-bluffing... I see too much players try to bluff early position @ Flop, almost everytime. If you call that they usually don't have courage to bluff again @ Turn. So it's pretty easy to steal the pot. But after all, you shouldn't bluff too much if you want to be a winning player at torunaments..
I usually attack the blinds with nothing and if they fold i'm showing them my crap...and after that when i'm doing the same with a good hand they think i'm bluffing and calls. It was a nice one i remember when i was playing with AA it was A 3 A on the flop=)) I checked and a bluffer pushed all in=)))
