I had 10 pair at bb, one person in late position calls, only two of us in pot. flop comes a,10,a. i don't wanna scare him so i check, he bets 2bb i call turn comes 4, he bets 3bb i put him on ace, so i go allin. he calls shows a,q and at river comes 4, lol

just for OP, with that 3spades on the river. If it gets to the turn and you're ahead and your opponent ISN'T drawing dead, then the worst odds he can have isn't all that bad, you aren't 99.9999% fav, the pack of cards ain't that big. if its HU then 4 hole cards between both players, plus 4 cards on table (at turn) means a 1 outer is 44:1
Which is unlikely, but by no means unbelievable. Real bad beats I reckon, is when it's after flop and you're opponent needs two specific cards for the turn and river. which is 45:2 * 44*1

we all have sick bad beats,but mine trhe worst and cant get any worse.lost over $4000 on this one hand.still pains me to this day.but thats poker and i move on,so here goes,ahhhhh,the usuall culprit,me holding pocket AA.raise,one call,blinds fold.cash game,25/50 small/big blinds.flop comes AAQ.sick.you little beauty.he in position next to me and raises straight of the the bat.wow,i just call.as you do.turn comes 10.mate raises.me call.gotta bleed it.river comes 3.bang old mate all in.i look at him say thanks,i got quad aces,he smiles say no thank you and shows kJ of clubs for a ROYAL F@#$%^G FLUSH.psychologist is helping.

My story:
I was holding A3o He was Holding AA, we were playing for #1 #2 So I moved him all in, he called, I got a flush. Won tournament That's a bad beat. (for him)
