I am playing in pokerstar, party poker and pacific poker. I deposited my money on those site and I find that pokerstar is the most fun and exciting, I stick with pokerstar for almost a year now, deposited 1000USD or more on it! Time after time it became popular on the computer cafe where I'm playing and almost all of the computer customer are playing on pokerstar but of course many also playing Online games such as Grandchase and Special force. I looses almost a 1000 USD or more but its ok with me, but when I tried to withdraw just 100 USD, there are many queries, First they said the withdrawal is in process and wait for 3 days to approved and another three days to get it into my bank account. I waited and then this shocking thing happen, I can't loggin on pokerstar and when I try to contact them they requested for my ID and of course I send it to them. But until now I can't login on pokerstar, so beware.... When depositing on pokerstar there's no question asked, but when withdrawing, it's where the problem happens!

I think most poker sites are pretty similar in terms of depositing being very easy and withdrawing sometimes being a headache. I believe that for most of the major rooms, once you've succesfully withdrawn once, the future withdraws shouldn't be as difficult. I think they, at least claim to, do it for security reasons/anti-money laundering etc - want to make sure everything on your account is ok, no chip-dumping from stolen credit cards etc, make sure you not underage etc etc.
Theoratically I think they should probably go to the same lengths with their depositing process but I guess they figure if depositing was as difficult as withdrawing they;d have no players.

I had withdrawn on pokerstar before, but when I try to withdraw last thursday they said my withdrawl is in process then after a day they block my account!
ahh BS!!!! i made so many withdraws without problems...only couse you are anable to do this is pokerstars right now rigged or what??? in my opinion pokerstars have the best options for an withdraw...for example: if you try to make an withdraw at ultimate bet with bank wire you must pay 50$ fee but at pokerstars its all for free..just 1 exapmle ...so plz stop crying
I have also withdrawn from PokerStars successfully before. No questions asked. I think there could be a number of reasons your particular withdrawl request was a pain in the ass. First thing that comes to mind is your country. I have read about some sites totally banning players from Philippines. But Pokerstars may add more security checks to players from your country to prevent fraud and stuff. Another thing I can think of is the spelling of your name, address info, etc. You may have typed info in wrong and they need your ID to confirm the actual info. Last thing could be similarities between your name and a known defrauder to Pokerstars. They just want to confirm that you're not the person they're thinking of.
Wow, my cash out request at Full Tilt took only 5 hours but indeed not directly to bank account but to Moneybookers... that's the huge advantage of using an e-wallet like Moneybookers... you'll not get withdrawal problems like that you are having at PS. But I think PS does not promote MB, am I right?

dude, kinda common sense, if you got a bunch of ppl playing at the same place, there are going to be problems. If everyone plays there, someone has probably logged in on that computer, rules state only one account per ip address or there could be problems.
uh man thats tight, i think i wont deposit any money to the pokerstar, but i have some money in ultimate bet. So if i withdrawn my money from UB i have to pay 50$ ???? thats nonsense.....is this really true??? ANd if i withdrawn my money to moneybookers and not directly to my bank account ia have to pay 50$ fee too?

Haven't you heard? ALL poker sites are rigged and the moment you deposit money your account has it's bad beat box checked and you can't win, if you happen to get lucky and get around it, they'll block your account and steal your money. Why do you think they have so much money... Jeezz
