No sorry i dont play here so have no idea about the withdrawal restrictions but if there dicking you after you have put a fare amount of $$$$$$$$ in there just say good bye to them i'm sure a different site will welcom you $$$$$$$ and give you some good first deposit EXTRA'S. play through bonuses can be good, if you play a lot. Pokerstars gets no love from me, awful site with awful customer "care".
I received a $50 start up there a few years back, I lost that $50 without completeing the bonus ... grand. That happens a lot of players. They usually just give up and move on to the next site, OR deposit their own money and continue playing.
Months later i decided to deposit on Stars and give it another go, I clear the first deposit bonus [easy as it was only $20 or so] and I deposit numerous times after this, small amounts, not winning much.
One time I decide to withdraw $50 [I had $70 odd in the account, I have deposited more than $150 at this point] and it keeps telling me I'm not allowed to withdraw this amount! I can onlt withdraw anything that's over $50 from my account. As in, If I have $70, i can only withdraw $20!
WTF? I e-mail them and they're very snappy with me, saying because I failed to complete the $50 NDB months earlier, I can only EVER withdraw what I have above this $50 - they say I can play with this $50 but never withdraw!
What a pile of BS, terrible, terrible treatment for someone who's just deposited numerous times on their site. Fucking awful to be Frank.
Needless to say i never deposited there again, and I went back to the site I received the NDB from and posted the mails I got sent by Stars. They agreed with me that this was never stated in the rules of the NDB and I think since then they have fixed up a new contract with Stars, but I never got fixed up, I just blew what I had left on there after they put me on tilt.
Never again. f%*k Poker stars. Way too many crappy player and they all think they're pro's because it's Stars ... lol. Also their mtts get ridiculous numbers. if it's any way a decent mtt expect 20,000 runners

hahaha doz jokerstars never deposited there never will stick to what im know and for the guy being robbed its not hard to realise either uve been hacked by your 'internet cafe' m8s or they'v had you over so many accounts on same ip

Sirmitch888 did you check PS website http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/real-money/ ? It says that from the Philippines you can deposit via local bank transfer. However, you can not cash out. In general if a player request to cash out, PS will use the same method the player used to deposit. That's why u shouldn't ask a friend for credit card or use the friend bank account and u should talk to ps support to advice on withdraw since ur country cant use band wire (ur deposit method.)
I think for u country, if u don't have a credit card best to use Western Union. they might be high on fees and the exchange rate (which can work in ur favor), but its a very simple process. friends of me in HK use this option all the time.

i ll still play here because its really one off the better poker site there softvare wasgood not bugs and river cards not kills so often then in over poker sites so its terrible for u but i never heard about problems like this ai easy deposit here and also easy withdraw here

I think most poker sites are pretty similar in terms of depositing being very easy and withdrawing sometimes being a headache. I believe that for most of the major rooms, once you've succesfully withdrawn once, the future withdraws shouldn't be as difficult. I think they, at least claim to, do it for security reasons/anti-money laundering etc - want to make sure everything on your account is ok, no chip-dumping from stolen credit cards etc, make sure you not underage etc etc.
Theoratically I think they should probably go to the same lengths with their depositing process but I guess they figure if depositing was as difficult as withdrawing they;d have no players.
Right. When i first withdrawed i was a little nervous about it. So many things asked and day after day there was no money... Now it are few clicks and i know money will be there in any time even so it still laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaags....
But dont think it is for YOUR safety as you described it. The reason why it is so hard is so you think "ok, than i do it some later when i have more money or a downswing got me" and sooner or later you recognise it all was that hard so you stay playing!

you're probably right on the money with this answer....playing from a cafe or library etc... will only cause big problems come cashout time..also next time you join a site ask them about their cashout policy and maybe even send in your ID before you even deposit if they will look at it then....anyway good luck
