Sofar I have not played any BRM freeroll.
So I am not really able to discuss this topic.
But I agree that it is more fun if nobody is sitting out at all.
So what ever helps to have more people playing the freeroll and not just sign in and don't play makes 100% sense.

I completely agree with the original poster.

If people arent going to play they should not register. Certainly when other people could play in their place but cant because the tournament is full.

Secondly, larger freerolls done less regularly will

A) Ultimately earn the site more money because one person will win a far larger amount and therefore create revenue. Whereas small payouts win the players very little and ultimately earn BRM far less.

B) It attracts interest. If you place a $100 freeroll on a site it doesnt stand out and its no different to any other forum. WHacking a $500 freeroll on a site will get everyones attention and they will come to BRM to find out how to get involved. They will of course want some of the action. Once you have them attracted then you can tempt them with other offers. Currently people see freerolls on sites like FTP, come to BRM to find out how to play then see they cant so dont bother coming back.

Yes its nice getting a free $50 bankroll on a site, but once its gone, then the interest is gone, and the site gets removed and they go back to Full Tilt. You arent getting anything at all from them because they dont play at the site anymore. They wont come back to BRM because they've blown what they were given for free and they know they cant play in any of the freerolls that they are really interested in.

The one thing that is slightly annoying is that the range of freerolls is very limited. For the amount of sites promoted, most dont get a freeroll so therefore once the bankroll has been blown as it most likely the case, most people will never play on that site again because theres no incentive. Put a freeroll on them and people will continue to play there. If they win BRM wins....

Sadly, and this may be taken wrongly, BRM does seem to reward the wrong people. Almost everyone plays on FTP yet no one plays on the smaller sites. If theres lucrative money to be given out, surely the incentive should be to the sites that people dont use. WHy reward those that are using a site everyone has an account on already but didnt use your links and you dont earn any money from. 100 people winning on FTP doesnt increase your interest levels in FTP whatsoever. THey'd still play there anyway. 100 people winning on a lesser site will increase their interest in the site, keep them attracted and ultimately earn BRM far more in the long term.
Personally if it were me, I'd open the FTP freeroll up to all registered BRM members who meet a qualifying criteria. It will get more people registered to the site. Once they have registered then ram the free money down their throat. Give them free money, let them try the site and then offer regular larger freerolls to keep them interested.

Giving them $50 on a site then watching them piss the lot away then offereing freerolls they cant play in because they didnt use your links just alienates them and makes them lose interest.

Full Tilt should be the site used to attract people, and then give them free money and use some of the money you currently spend on FTP to keep them interested in the sites that you really can increase your revenue on. THe ones that people dont use..

Another example of people getting rewarded wrongly is as follows

People get free bonuses on sites, they get given mob points. They build up 5000 points in various ways and take the money. How much of that money goes back to the smaller sites ? Very little I would imagine. Most of it goes to sites like FTP. If they havent used your link to register with FTP then you're not getting any revenue back from that $50. I have had over $200 from BRM and no one cent has gone back to a site that I downloaded via BRM. Its all gone to FTP. BRM havent made a cent from me... Thats simply crazy. Why not make it that people can only cash out to the sites they've used a BRM link for. That way you are guaranteed to get some of that $50 back.

And finally I keep going on about it, but its really bugging me.

I refer people here and get very little for doing so. Once they register here and take the free money and have lost it I get nothing more neither does BRM. If I were rewarded more if they play more then I would run freerolls at sites they have registered to, to keep them playing there. KNowing in the long term I will get that money back. As it goes now I refer them, I get a small sum, they get the money, they blow it, I get nothing more, they get nothing more and BRM gets nothing more.

Pay the affliates like myself more, which will let me run events to keep people who are using the smaller sites interested and everyone will win.. If I know people playing regularly will keep me with a regular income then I will do anything to keep them playing. BRM wins. I win and the player wins because I and BRM will offer more to keep them there. As things are, I get $7 for a referal and no more. BRM gets no more because the players have lost the initial bonus and have got rid of the software.

168 players out of the 500 max i dont think it means full !
So your main problem is that you dont get more money from affiliating with BRM, thats why you wrote that book Confused
And whats all that story with FTP? lol
Its like all BRM has to do is turn everyone at FTP.
I know lots of people playing in other sites and they are playing regular there.
Dont know though if they are playing at FTP at the same time Big Smile
And the last paragraph ? <<Pay the affliates like myself more>>
I basically think you are off topic and that your message should be something discussed in private
with BRM and not posted in a forum thread.
