Upon conclusion of a recent investigation of cash game play, we have determined that opponents of yours were in violation of the Full Tilt Poker Site Terms and End User License Agreement.
In this instance, we have seized the account balances of the offending players and redistributed it to players who were victimized. The calculation was based on the number of hands played against the offending players as well as the amount won or lost against them.

Wow, I´m amazed! Did you confirm your account, did they really credit it with that amount? If so, this is very nice to hear, that there is some sort of security control and security measures such as a refund.
I have never seen anything like it, thumbs up for their investigation team

wow if i get it right they will get u that money back since some guys cheated on their site and it was made in tournaments or cash game that you took a part in ? if yes rly nice to see FT doing such a brave steps and banning this ppl and even giving back ppl their money !

Good to see FT are active in this area. In cash games FT are the only poker site I have heard of that has caught cheats, taken action, let the players concerned know about it and refunded money.
This doesn't mean other sites like Stars etc don't I just have never heard of it in the cash game area. Has anyone else?

I dont think they should be given another go at all, for one to me a cheat is a cheat for life and that is the way they will be judged, which is not a good thing if you want to keep the cheat in. If the cheater does correct his ways and is playing properly the first sign of collusion or anything else would lead us back to the start wether it is infact true or not. I think they should suffer the consequences they bring upon themselves

nah it cant be the same ip address specially not on full tilt me and my friends tried to play at the same play money table and they dont allow that either so i really dont think that it was that.. but wow that is pretty serious im gad you shared that with us!!

I respect and understand your opinion, but I disagree. Noone should be judged, because noone is the same 100% of the time. Ok, they brought that upon themselves, but why not give them a chance to bring something better upon everyone?
Don´t get me wrong, I don´t like cheating or cheaters, but I do like the redemption concept, and all it involves.

yea i agree im pretty sure that every1 is capable of change if given the oppertunity.. but unfortuantly not every takes that opportunity to change and remains "a cheat" in this case... but its really unfair to condem some 1 at their 1st offense..
like Jesus said... "let he without sin cast the 1st stone"
so since no one is perfect who are you to judge and condemn others?

well anyway iam looking forward if they will annouce some scam or some cheat made on their site since they should rly do that ... but if we take from another view who will make self bad advertisment right ? -_-

yea i was just thinkin that...
was that sucha good idea to post that cuz thats bad for FTP... so hopefully we gont get introuble for posting that cuz it might undermind their security and deter people from playing there...
but FTP is a great site and theres prolly cheaters everywhere you play

I guess maybe they are playing the "It happens in everysite." card, that way letting the world know that they at least are taking action, not only by punishing the guilty, but refunding the harmed. Maybe this is a good way to promote their anti-fraud team/system.
It´s just a thought, it could be bad for them too, I just like showing different points of view. I hope I don´t see people wanting to cut my throat!

I think its not happening so offen as you said its just rare becouse all sites have save their rooms and if even some one break their defends they can easily track him and as i know they have whole team that are doing on this analisis ...
but iy'd nice to hear that they are playing an active role in catching the people that get into money unlawfully...
