Very good, cheaters everywhere destroys the fun in the internet, all games ecpecially poker. I cant understand how u can have fun, betrayiing yourself. By the way, congrats to this amount of money

if you had messenger open you could collude with people who didnt have the same ip address, i could collude with someone from nepal and i live in new zealand.
the internet removes physical barriers, so it could quite easily be something as hard to stop as collusion

Collusion is very hard to detect some imagine, due to the fact that, like mentioned above, people could use MSN Messenger, or even a phone call to your poker playing neighbour. Most of the times they analize the suspects playing habits. They see what the total profit was everytime they played together, they analyze hand histories to see if one or the other played in a way which is obviously different from that player´s style. Basically a whole bunch of data analizing.

i uno that can EASILY be all over turned if things were to get outta hand.. it would be very hard to track that AND prove cuz if that happend to me i would definatly fight it and it would be extrememly hard to prove any of that with all the data..

Italia, I agree, to actually prove something is very difficult, but what they normally do is to freeze the account, then comes a long and tiring process of trying to get your money, and trying to prove that you didn´t cheat, and it ends up being your word against theirs.
Some brasilian friends of mine were accused of doing this in Sit N Go´s. They were banned from the site, but were able to keep their winnings!

oh for sure... if they took over $300 from me i would definatly make sure i got my money.. the banning from the site is totally up to them and they have the right to do so for any reason they have....

Well mb they just realesed some one from some tournament and u moved up in ranking ? i saw already that and it happens when some one is playing on friends account from midle of tournament or so ...

hmm that would be interesting cuz the other night my buddy told me to play his tournament cuz he wasnt able to... and nothing happend to me and i was playin in that same tournament from my ip.. but i wouldnt see how that is cheating.. after i lost i played his..
i think it was in the party poker million dollar gauranteed that they found the overall winner had been cheating
he played from his account and his sisters simultaneously. i think that the person who went out on the bubble (i think like 360th or something like that) moved up one place because of the cheater and got 3 grand back as opposed to nothing

I think you'll find they were using certain software that is prohibited on FT. Though freely available, if you know where to look, this type of software is banned by most major sites. It gives a big edge to those who use it. And no, it can't tell what cards you are holding. The encryption used by most sites makes this impossible ......for now

Im still concerned about them not telling the nicknames of the players which they banned form their poker room. Maybe others played against those players, and I also dont think they could play with some sort of banned software unless they masked it somehow, because as far as i know poker clients check loaded modules and look for those used by banned software. Im not certain about that so excuse me if im wrong. BTW what happened to full tilt yesterday? Couldnt play or even use site. Maybe KAHNAWAKE inspection came for investigation.

Yeah I dont get that double registration for MTT either. I would like if someone would throw out numbers on chances you end up on the same table in 12000, or even 3000 players tournament. SnG are different story, I think some guy played with 3 or even more accounts on freeroll SnG, small cash prize, at 5A. Why do i think that. First thing is that after i knocked out 3 players, got lucky, only 2 other guys were playing with me others just folded, and its not the whole case after i knocked out those 2, and left only with those players, one semi active player, because he would only fold, would not fold only when i was not playing . 5A poker was doing something with their server, my guess maybe not, because i had trouble logging in and got kicked out of the client 5 or 6 times. And every time i got back guy was raising blind, stealing mine but the moment i was seated he would go back to fold routine, and yes you guessed one time one of those sitting players also did that. One time I stopped playing just to see if he would become active again, and he actually did. I called admin, support, and theres nothing wrong to play like that to him. I mailed them later, i won it after who knows how many hands raised, and said that its ok because its freeroll but that there were 2 possible explanations, either guy was only trying to limp in for easy 2 cents, or something else was happening like multiple registering to SnG and trying to knock out players with secondary players and win in the end with primary. No response and i wasnt even looking for one. But if they cant see IP`s of players or they dont pay attention to that, I dont think i can ever feel comfortable playing there. There are free proxy servers but they warn users that if suspicion exists that their server is being used for any kind of fraud, they will share your original IP and will take any possible action they can to punish you. And as far as I know those servers operate on same IP`s and with very little effort gambling sites can make a database, list, of those IP`s and forbid logging in from those IP`s.

looking over old posts and see this. Wow That is sweet. I have heard that they have strict security that looks for cheaters online but I just thought it was a hoax to deter the cheaters nice to see it in action. I might move some money over there it seems like a safe place.
