When Full Tilt poker announced their new televised poker show "Face the Ace", PokerStars followed and created their very own show called "PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge". In PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge anyone playing at PokerStars has the chance to win a seat online and then play against PokerStars biggest pros heads-up for lots of money.

First out in PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge was father Andrew Trapp. Andrew received $25,000 after that he won against both the NBA player John Salley and the PokerStars pro Vanessa Rousso. After those 2 victories he risked all the money he had won to play against Daniel Negreanu for the first prize of $100,000. And believe it or not! The priest had the poker gods with him as he managed to win over Negreanu as well.

That is the easiest part. Just wait for quads, and take all his chips. Blink

1. poker is not gambling ( unless you don't know what you are doning)
2. poker is not gambling ( especially when you have (the poker-) God on your side)

The bible says lots of things are bad including homosexuality but there are plenty of gay christians today. There are probably evangelists in the US who want him to be burned alive but the majority of christians seem to be getting more and more liberal. Religions have to change if they are going to survive. They've been bending their own rules for ages.

lol, so he WAS gambling then. SINNER !! SINNER!

In other news, in the pub poker circle I used to play in for a couple years, there was a priest who always showed up (although, strictly speaking, that really wasn't gambling as it was free to enter-technically anyway). Priest was often a bit flustered with the sorta chat that goes on at poker tables (in pubs anyway)

I just think it's a bit silly to literally preach one thing and do another.

The expression "Thank God" has just won a new meaning to this priest. If poker is not illegal in his state, so it isnt illegal to play it and even less illegal to win money playing it. Aleluia, i still believe He looks for all of us!
