Yesterday the final table in the $25k High Roller tournament was played. The final Table included some of the best tournament poker players in the world and millions of people around the world were watching and discussing the hands and the players on different forums on the web. The favorite to win the final table was the 27 year old Frenchmen Bertrand"ElkY" Grospellier who had already won a World Poker Tour (WPT) and a European Poker Tour (EPT). And Elky left no one disappointed who believed in him before and during the tournament as he won it and received $433,500 in first prize.
After 7 hours of top quality poker there were only 2 players standing. Bertrand"ElkY" Grospellier and the Canadian Will Molson. But it didn't take long for Elky to take the command over the game and defeat his last opponent without any bigger problems. Elky has now got the best possible start of 2009 as he has taken another big title.
A total of 48 players took part in the High Roller Event and these are the results for the final table.
