High Stakes Report - October: Tom "durrrr" Dwan on the top spot

Tom Dwan had a fantastic month at Full Tilt's nosebleed tables last month. Now, he's closing in on 2010's biggest winner and the man he's up against in the new durrrr challenge, Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates. Tom Dwan won $991k in October and in total he's up $3.95 million this year - "only" $300,000 separates him and Cates.

Incase you missed it, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, the finnish poker pro, had a few very, very bad poker days during October and he also ended up being October's biggest loser online. It was quite expected that he would grab the not-so-glorious top spot in the list below. We can only hope that he gets back on track soon again so he don't end up like Gus Hansen. Well, Gus has been doing okay lately, but as you can see in the list below, his name is nowhere to be found. Not a good sign since he's been playing very well.

TOP 5 winners and losers - October
1 Tom "durrrr" Dawn, $991 318
2 Andreas "skjervoy" Torbergsen, $755 211

3 Patrik Antonius, $612 123

4 Daniel "jungleman12" Cates, $608 032

5 David Benefield, $517 408

1 Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, -$1 717 959
2 "WastedPotential", -$455 400
3 Jared "harrington25" Bleznick, -$412 829

4 Rob "Vaga_Lion" Akery, -$407 957
5 "cadillac1944", -$357 655

good for tom to win back money he lost last year to isildur, though he's still gotta win more.

The only reason why he is up so much, most of the year he has done nothing, nothing but avoid Jungleman12.
Wounder if PA bought out in the challange.

Yes so bad from him lmao... but w8? NO? If i would be him i would think like that....
I am winning player at High Stakes... i am doing really nice cash out there... i am kinda new so i don't have so much other cash income (he have some but for sure not like others) so getting cash from Poker instead of loosing is kinda nice. I was pwned by Isildur... many times even when i tried to get him some time ago... and Jungleman12 also is kinda strong oponent to play with.
What to do... play with Jungleman12 and maybe loose a lot of cash or play with easy oponents which from i can easy get cash.... ofc Jungleman12! Nah it's FAIL.

And if you're talking about the challenge u're also wrong. Both challenges wasn't about cash because in both they aren't winning any cash (don't talking about the one FTP give them for promotion)

Good for durrr, he can cover the losses which he can make with Jungleman. But the statistics really shows that the new durrr challenge is one of the best HU poker we can see on High Stakes Smile

4 million in a year it's a quite huge amount: maybe his ugly face, as Cagliostro says, is the secret of his success Smile
