EPT - Tallinn: Kevin Stani grabs the first place prize of €400,000!

Tags: Arnaud Mattern, EPT Tallinn Kevin Stani, main event.
Posted on 17 August 2010 by "T".

After many long days of poker it was finally time for the final table of the EPT Tallinn Main Event yesterday. On the final table were many new faces, some with more experience than others. The most experienced player, however, was Arnaud Mattern (chip leader) from France who had won an EPT before and now had the chance of writing history as the first player ever to win 2 events on the tour. But unfortunately it wasn't Aanaud Mattern's day (3rd place) and instead it was the norwegian poker pro Kevin Stani who took home the tournament for €400,000 after beating Konstantin Bilyaue in heads up poker.

Final table results:
1. Kevin Stani, €400 000

2. Konstantin Bilyauer, €250 000
3. Arnaud Mattern, €160 000

4. Dmitry Vitkind, €120 000

5. Mikko Jaatinen, €80 000
6. Steven van Zadelhoff, €63 000
7. Nicolo Calia, €47 000

8. Bassam Elnajjar, €32 000

I was there, saw the whole thing, that was a nice experience. Was really sad about Arnaud Mattern's bad beat, he had QQ against 33 and the turn was a 3.
That sucked!

I put the Mattern to 1st rank also when final table was set, but I thought hell have hard times there. Its just like in wsop 1009 final table where Saout lost 88 to Cadas ak.

No man, I didnt know it Cool . Probably if I would of logged into pkr few last days, would of red it from news, but I havent been around there few days now atleast.

Feel happy for Kevboy as hes always been top cream in pkr. Probably the only one who stands up to Geshken-Beyne in pkr highest tables.
The pros in there really getting some attention, first Zlatan then Beyne and now Kevboy Thumbs Up. Makes me think when Domdy steps up Smile?
