WPT Amneville: 76 players survived Day 2

The field of 379 players who signed up for the WPT Amneville Main Event 3 days ago have now become a field of 76 players as Day 1 and 2 are over. Chip leader is Urs Kohler with almost 500k chips, followed by Scott Baumstein with 481k. Other players of note to make it to Day 3 are, for example, Nesrine Kourdourli (431k), Joseph Cheong (380k) and Arnaud Mattern (258k). Play will resume at 12:00 (CET) today and will played for 5 90-minute levels or until the field has been narrowed down to 18 players.

Things are very tight in this tourney. So many players in the top with almost the same amount of chips. And 90 minute levels are huge. This needs a very different strategy from the used online. I don’t know how would I react playing something like this. Or perhaps I know. “Fakiry is out of the tourney. Good luck next time!"
