HighStakes: Phil Ivey keeps on impressing

Phil Ivey, the biggest star in the poker world, seems to be unstoppable at the moment. For many weeks the american poker pro has been running over his opponents at Full Tilt Poker. And it wasn't a big surprise when Phil ended up being last week's biggest winner, again. $765,301 - that's how much Phil Ivey won last week! So far this year, he has won 3.2 million dollars. Only Tom "durrrr" Dwan has won more money - $4.2 million.  But you have to keep in mind that Tom Dwan has played almost 10 times as much hands. In other words, very impressing results by Phil Ivey!

I've read that Gus Hansen is the biggest (pro) loser. He has lost over 7 million in just 3 years. Is that right?

WoW.Unbelievable.He's very good at live poker , but also online.Anyway he's not better then Tom Dwan online.

He is. He played 10 times less than Dwan this year online and won 3/4 of what Dwan won. Also, during the isildur period, Tom Dwan nearly went broke when Phil Ivey played successfully against isildur Tongue

@Supererou : Isildur1 is the nickname of Viktor Blom, a player that made a huge buzz in the poker communuty, starting to play at the highest stakes of FTP among the pros while noone knew his identity. He first made a huge amount of money against the regs, but then went down a lot.

@Kristan : I didnt mean it as a joke. Maybe I'm wrong but i was nearly sure that Dwan lost huge amounts against Isildur1, whereas Phil Ivey first lost a bit, and then won back some more, even though it wasnt a lot. Im also nearly sure Tom played tons of hands against Dwan while Phil played pretty few hands against him. If I'm wrong, please give me a link with the correct informations Tongue

phil on fire again and he play more clever game then the durrn so durrn will loose all soon if he play so many time again

Dont get this guy, losing so much over the last years at HS and still goes on and on.
Pretty obvious for everybody to see Gus hasnt got the skills for HS and need to step down 1 level.
