The EPT London main event's player field has been narrowed down even further as Day 3 of the tournament has come to an end. Out of the 159 players who came to start - only 62 survived the day. Benny Spindler, who was the chip leader both Day 1 & 2, didn't run as well during Day 3 and today he will return to the tables with 570,000 (12th place).
Leading the tournament is James Mitchell from UK with 1,071,500 chips - followed by fellow countrymen Sam Macdonald (860,000) and Martins Adeniya (786,800). There are very few familiar faces in the top of the field, but further down one can find some interesting names. Just to mention a few: Sebastian Blom (23rd place with 337k) - Viktor "Isildur1" Blom's brother, Team PokerStars Pros Ana Marquez (40th place with 175,500) and Humberto Brenes (44th place with 163,000).
No matter what happens during Day 3, the remaining players are guaranteed to get away with at least £11,000 each from the £3,351,350 prize pool. But of course that's peanuts compared to the money that will be up for grabs on the final table where everyone is guaranteed £45k each and the winner will get £750,000.
