EPT Copenhagen: Swedes dominated Day 2 of the Main Event

Another day of the Main Event is now in the books. 262 players have become 73 and the final table, where lots of cash is up for grabs, is not far away! In the lead is Michael Tureniec from Sweden (picture), followed by another 2 Swedes - Per Linde and Joel Nordqvist.

Day 2 of the EPT Copenhagen Main Event was, as you probably already figured out, dominated by the Swedish poker players. There are a few big names who will return to play Day 3 of the tournament. For example, JP Kelly in 4th place, and further down in the felt are Johnny Lodden and Juha Helppi.

I think its always nice to see "home made" players leading in an international tourney. That gives value to the tourney itself. I am saying this if it happens to be there many foreign players, and some foreign pros too, which i guess there must be, like in all international tourneys. If home players show they can hang on and even be better than some foreign pros when playing in their country, that gives poker more power, and its a good publicity to encourage other good amaterus to participate next time.
