The final match between Daniel "jungleman / w00ki3z" Cates and Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky took 3,179 hands (about 10 hours) to complete. Cates dominated most of the match with his aggressive and creative style of playing heads-up poker. Sulsky only made a short comeback about 8 hours into the match, but Cates proved too strong for him to handle.

In the final hand of the match both players went all-in pre-flop, Sulsky holding pocket nines and Cates with pocket jacks. The two jacks held up and Sulsky was elimianted in second place for $250,000. Daniel Cates received $550,000 and the All-Star Showdown Trophy! However, Cates was not the biggest winner of the first ever All-Star Showdown...

Unstopable jungleman! After playing 3,000 hands during seven hours and doing a turnaround with his semi-finalist, now he reaches the top and he takes the first place again, this time against Ben Sulsky. Interesting to see that the number of hands was almost the same, but it took more three hours to play them on the final than on the semi-final... Decisions are harder when the end is near!
