A total of 2,995 players entered Event #23 ($153 NLHE 6-Max Hyper Turbo) and generated a prize pool of $449,250 - more than double the guarantee. The hyper turbo structure forced players to make quick decisions and the action was crazy to say the least. Only 46 minutes into the tournament the money bubble happened and all remaining 391 players were guaranteed $260 each.

Then it only took about 20 minutes before 7 tables remained, and at the 1.5-hour mark only 3 tables. It didn't take long before the tournament was down to only 1 table. When 3 players remained, the tournament went on a break as deal was discussed. The 3 players finally agreed to some numbers, with $4,000 extra to be paid to the winner.

Seat 1: andy123460 (6,968,581 in chips) = $54,753.94
Seat 4: LiMa171 (4,073,074 in chips) = $52,623.39
Seat 5: Chip10Leader (3,933,345 in chips) = $49,231.03

LiMa171 was first out, which left andy123460 and Chip10Leader playing heads-up. andy123460 had a 14-1 lead and Chip10Leader was forced to go all in almost every single hand to have a chance. Chip10Leader doubled up 2 times in a row, but when he pushed the 3rd time the poker gods sided with the chip leader and it was all over.

Final table results:
1st place: andy123460 ($58,753.94)*
2nd place: Chip10Leader ($49,231.03)*
3rd place: LiMa171 ($52,623.39)*
4th place: dave798111 ($24,708.75)
5th place: PULGUITO ($15,723.75)
6th place: brikichiki ($8,028.09)

*Reflects three-way deal with $4K extra for the winner

This must be really crazy action, passing from 3,000 into 390 players in only 45 minutes. I thought I have already saw lot about poker, but I never entered any looked like this. Can’t think about going for something with this buy-in but my curiosity increased so I have to go look for micro hyper turbo, I believe there must be some. Can this guys define a strategy? It must have a lot to do with position, almost sure to assist lots of all-ins, but they can’t be done at the wrong time or at the wrong position…
